Stopped at my dad’s to pick up mail and packages and nap before going back down to Tampa tonight for work.
Had to stop at my favorite little taco shop for the cabeza taco salad and agua de Jamaica juice I love so much.
They gave me free chips and salsa because it was gonna be a bit of a wait.
I was willing to wait for my cabeza regardless lol ❤️ ️

Excellent taqueria! Horchata, Pina, and other special drinks are available. The elote is one of my favorites! For being in our little shopping mall, there’s even dine-in available. Weekend specials. They can cater your event. Friendly staff and excellent cooking. Give Taco De Oro a try. They won’t disappoint you.

They use corn tortillas which I’m a bigger fan of flour. Not a big deal.
Cilantro and onion were not very fresh and bland.
Steak on my tacos was chewy and under seasoned.
Overall definitely wouldn’t come back. I’m from Minnesota and the hot sauces were bland and heatless.
I don’t think they get enough traffic for fresher food .

This place is absolutely amazing for a quick, but authentic Mexican food experience with friendly staff ! My family tried several of their menu items such as the Burrito de Oro , the Chicken Quesadilla, Rice ,beans ,queso and even the Birria Pizza and it was all phenomenal absolutely no disappointments !

Ordered nachos. Queso was watered down to a very thin sauce and was sparse at best. Therefore, my meal was very dry.
I asked if I may have some more queso and was told “probably not” and if so, I may be charged more…….then my request and my presence were completely ignored.
My husband ordered the burrito bowl and ate only 1/2 because it was completely tasteless.
They do not serve guacamole but do offer avocado on the side.

Just had a quick pollo taco and it was amazing! Just had a simple one, cilantro onions and lime. The red sauce is reasonably spicy and the meat was so tender and juicy. Well seasoned. Will definitely be back!

This is the 2nd time I’ve eaten here. Both times were delivered by door dash. The first order was pretty good, however, this time it was horrible. I couldn’t eat more than 4 bites. I can usually soldier through food that’s not good but not this. It wasn’t just mine that was bad. My roommate couldn’t eat hers either. We both ordered the same as the first time. Both of our orders this time were just plain gross. There won’t be a 3rd time.
