Great experience with the kids. You can walk right inside, look through the ice cream cabinets and see all the flavors before choosing. We got a milkshake and an ice cream flight with three different flavors — everything was amazing. Love that they’re open even in the winter.

I came here while visiting a buddy in Bellmawr and honestly didn’t even realize this ice cream shop was open in the winter. You can walk right inside, stand at the counter, and look through the ice cream cabinet to choose from 26 flavors or more, which is awesome — especially when it’s cold out.
I went with vanilla ice cream topped with M&M’s and sprinkles, and it was out of this world. Super fresh, creamy, and not overly sweet. Everything looked really good, and it honestly wasn’t easy choosing because there are so many options, from classic flavors to shakes and sundaes.
Even without seating, the setup is easy and comfortable. You walk in, order at the counter, enjoy the music and the vibe, and it’s a great stop with friends or family. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and the whole experience felt relaxed and welcoming.
What really stood out to me is that this is an ice cream shop you can actually go to all year long. Winter, rain, cold weather — it doesn’t matter. This is definitely my new go-to ice cream spot.

We made our first trip to the Hershey Shake Shop Creamery this evening.
The first thing my husband and I both noticed was how clean and well kept the shop was. The staff was wearing hairnets and fresh gloves which is not something you typically see nowadays.
All of the ice cream in the freezer appeared to be fresh and I didn’t see anything freezer burnt. I have celiac so I knew that there were flavors Hershey offers that are safe for me. So I got a scoop of the cotton candy ice cream because I knew it was a safe option for me and historically Hershey’s has always had the best cotton candy ice cream in my opinion. ( This opinion is still unchanged.)
My husband got a chocolate shake and I watched the employee make his shake with both cleanliness and precision.
The staff were friendly, well-spoken, and polite as well.
The only thing we wished was different about our experience was that there was a more readable menu on the wall or displays. And possibly a stack of printed ones to grab one to bring home to look at before our next visit.
We will definitely be back after today’s experience and will recommend this location to friends and family. Great little shop that deserves to be praised.
