My husband and I used to live in CS but moved a couple years ago. We decided to stay at the Stella hotel and it was beautiful! Mainly wanting to write this review for Hershel’s bartenders though! Even if you don’t stay at the hotel but go to this bar you will have an amazing night if Jesse or Taylor are there working. They were so professional and great at their jobs (try Jesse’s yummy spin on a whiskey sour!!) but my husband and I loved their company the most! We tried the other bar out as well which was nice but our favorite definitely was Hershel’s for the two behind the bar. Thanks for making our last night there so fun! Their managers should be very proud!! Live music was also a fun addition!

I have been here twice. The room is well laid out and could be a comfortable place. The second time I went after getting my initial order for a beer (rather than a $12-$14 cocktail) the bartender had NO contact with me at all.
It could be good for those visiting the hotel but the prices are rather high if you just want to go out to socialize.

This is a great place to spend some time on a weekend night, when they’ve got live music playing. It’s usually a young person with a guitar or keyboard. We’ve heard some outstanding voices during our visits. The prices are a bit on the high side but the atmosphere is very comfortable and homey. I added the pic to show the sort of seating that’s available.

Great atmosphere, we visited during our stay in college station. Really enjoyed the bring your own vinyl night and they had an excellent drink selection. Incredibly friendly staff 10/10 would recommend.

Atmosphere here was wonderful and my husband and I played a game of chess while sipping our thin mint Hershey cocktails . Staff is super friendly and it was enjoyable to just sit and relax.

Very interesting place. The prices are typical of a hotel establishment but they are not outrageous. They have some very tasty drinks that are very refreshing. I am not sure we’d make the trip out there unless we weren’t meeting a group.

We went for Barbeque and Bourbon. The event was in Hershel’s due to weather. The bbq was good. The bourbon was TX and it was good but there was only one small sample.
