This smell when we first entered the restaurant was so abundant we almost did not stay to dine in. At first, we thought it was a smell from the bathroom, but I think it’s the cleaning products that they use there.

We placed an order of guacamole and it came out in all to go packaging. Not sure why they are using disposable packaging for everything in the restaurant. Sounds like they just don’t wanna do dishes.

I ordered a side of beans and rice and it was about the size of the palm my hand. Would not recommend the tacos. They were very basic and the service was lackluster.

What a great addition to the bucktown neighborhood!!! The food here is fantastic! We got la gringa, a ribeye taco and al pastor. They tacos were stuffed and delicious and la gringa was amazing with the melted cheese. We also got the guac which has to be one of my favorites in the city!! It’s a little spicy with fresh chips too! We also got the pico and I LOVED that it was with tomatillos!! Lastly the margaritas are fantastic!!! They are fresh and you can tell made in house. So happy to have such a great spot in the neighborhood

Went in on a Saturday around 5pm. I was specifically looking for a crunchy taco and they had them as a special. So delicious!!! The service was lovely and they have so many great deals. Check them out!! ‍ ✨

The tacos are absolutely worth it, the meat is unlike any I’ve had in the city, it’s just so tender and juicy. However, I’m only giving this place 3 stars because the service was terrible. We sat down at the bar, and I’m not kidding, it took the bartender 30 minutes just to acknowledge us, not even a “sorry, I’m busy making drinks; I’ll be right with you.” He was actually nice and prepared an amazing sangria with banana, it just rubbed us the wrong way that it took him forever to greet us. Finally after the drinks we waited an entire hour for food, that’s right. We came in on a Friday around 7pm, so they were out of chips and guac sadly. I’d say this is a great takeout spot because the tacos are phenomenal, but it’s not a good place to sit and enjoy your food unless you’re ok with waiting a long time for service and food.

I am looking to support local food spots so I met a friend here for happy hour and dinner. We arrived at 15 mins before 6, looked over the menu and wanted to order a margarita on happy hour. It was not 6 o clock and they refused to honor happy hour prices. She said her order system said it was past 6.
The special is buy one get one free! She could have rang up one and gave us one!?!
Very disappointed, poor customer service.

It also smells in here, and NO ONE was in the restaurant at a busy time. Now I know why. We got up and left, walked to the nearby joint and had better service. Will never come back.

Another great addition to the Bucktown neighborhood! This has to be my favorite guac and chips in the entire city (chips are freshly fried, guac is spicy with a little sweetness and is thick). The tacos themselves are well seasoned and filled with meat. I tried the ribeye, steak and al pastor and everything was very good. I do wish for the price you’re paying, the tacos were served in home made tortillas (like Chingon) but the meat carries the tacos well enough. Cocktails were well made! Overall a good spot, a little pricey but I think is worth it for the area.

I recently visited a fantastic Mexican taqueria and had an amazing experience. I ordered the Gringa, which featured their signature handmade tortilla filled with Al Pastor and Chihuahua melting cheese—it was delicious! I also tried their chicken tacos, which were juicy and full of flavor, not dry at all. The service was prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. Highly recommend!

If your looking for authentic mexican food and drinks. This is the spot. Everything was fresh. Recommend the Al pastor and steak tacos! Horchata was spot on. Not too many places do a perfect Horchata. This place does. We will be back. Nice for a couples night out or wuth friends at the bar.
