Neat little place, the atmosphere is nice for a small town bar. The bar tender was absolutely awesome! I didn’t catch her name but she was great. The food was good but I would say just above average bar food. Overall though if your looking for a decent small town place to grab a drink or something to eat I recommend you check them out. On a side note the honey garlic wing sauce is top tier .

This was the perfect perch fish fry of my dreams! So good! Homemade food. Everything was made with a Chef’s kiss perfection! The bread! A great traditional marble rye! The breading was light and crisp it didn’t overpower the fish. The perch had that fresh lake taste to it. The German potatoes were like my Grandma used to make. Holly was a wonderful sweet server. Thank you so much! Y’all! we don’t get great food like this in Texas.

Love finding new little places to stop on road trips! What a great find! Fantastic place! A bit hesitant at first, but it got so many great reviews, we had to try it. Their wings came out looking a bit dark, but they were not burnt- they were perfect! Some of the best ever! The stuffed pepper soup was amazing as was the Monday special- $2 burger and fantastic $1 fries (cooked perfectly!) Bartender was friendly as was the owner! We would stop here again!

The combo plate was awesome. Food was hot and fresh. The haddock was light, and when dipped in butter, it was fabulous. It was cooked perfectly. A big fillet of Walleye was awesome. Perch shrimp, and fries were all great. The bartender served us, and she asked us twice how everything was. Luckily the music wasn’t blaring, and we could watch the Brewer game. The prices were reasonable. I’m not one to write reviews like this, but I know I’ll be back to rookies again again!

We went in for the Friday Night Fish Fry. The salad bar was an extra plus that was included with our fish dinner. Stuffed pepper soup was absolutely amazing. My husband and I both ordered the Combo Platter. There was Perch, Shrimp, Haddock, and Walleye. Both of our dinners were so delicious and quantities were really good too. We brought home leftovers. We will definitely be going back for the Friday Night fish Fry. The bartenders were great and kept checking if we needed anything. Great Atmosphere!

I called in an order for a full serving of baked haddock at 5 pm today. When I went to pick it up, I looked inside and said to the young lady, I ordered baked haddock and isn’t this deep fried? She didn’t seem to know, so took the order to the kitchen to ask the cook.
Yes, it was deep fried. And it was a half order not a full order. She apologized and offered to redo the order, but I didn’t have another half hour to wait.
When I arrived at my destination I discovered that the red potatoes were not completely done either and The fish was poor, not to mention no tartar sauce and a dry piece of rhy bread.
I was thoroughly dissatisfied with my order. The cabbage slaw was very good, however. The waitress was kind but doesn’t know how to take an order
