Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Stopped by this Whataburger recently and had a really solid experience. The place was clean, the service was excellent, and the food came out fast and hot. The team working there was friendly and efficient, which always makes a difference.
Food was about a good quality and exactly what you expect from Whataburger. Service was definitely great, and the ambiance was great too, clean, comfortable, and well kept.
Overall, a great stop if you’re looking for quick, hot food and friendly service. Would definitely come back.

I grew up in Rockwall now I moved to Fate. I am excited the new Whataburger is in Fate. I hope people understand, when a restaurant opens there will be some mistakes from the employees are learning from. I ordered online. Soon as I came in, The order came to me as I walked in and great service cleaning store, and my order was correct. They even upgraded me to extra large. Tim Navarro runs a great business here. That atmosphere is wonderful. And everybody works with each other as employees or a team.

I came in on a weekday in the late afternoon, and there was no one else there. I placed my order to dine in and waited about 30 minutes. When I finally went up to the cashier to ask about my food, she told me—rudely—that my ticket had never been printed for the kitchen. She acted as though the mistake was somehow my fault.
I asked for a refund at that point. She took my ticket but refused to process the refund. Then a man from the back came out and began arguing with me as well. The entire situation felt unnecessarily confrontational and unprofessional.
I ended up leaving without my meal and no refund. A simple order should not turn into that kind of experience. We’ve had multiple poor customer service experiences here before, but this one was by far the worst.

On March 6th 2026 at 9:48 this Whataburger location served me the most godly order I’ve her had. As I ate it on the way home, I stopped on the left lane on 30 , reclined my seat and enjoyed my majestic #2. 30 was at a standstill, people honking and yelling but I didn’t care. This is, by far, THE BEST Whataburger I’ve ever gone to! From the precious greetings up front to the most amazing manager, Erik, they offer pure top-notch customer service! Then the food: quality food as expected!!
I visited with my kiddo, post ER visit, at 4:00 am and we were warmly greeted and treated by Erik! I know he was also there during the ice storm of last week, despite the nasty weather!

So annoying. First it takes a while in the drive thru and then you get your food and out of courtesy you don’t hold up the line. Next time I’m holding up the whole damn line until I check every single item. Like how in the hell do you order breakfast and they give you a completely different order. Last time I checked, a honey butter biscuit does not look like this.

Don’t know what was so funny after I gave my name for the order. After that the girl started laughing uncontrollably and a guy came on and said BYE STEPHANIE. I waited in the line for my food. A young male took my payment. Then this female came out to repeat my name 5 more times before leaving. I did give her a stare because it was weird. Is there a problem with my name or something? Whataburger 4810 E Interstate 30 in Fate delivers solid service and reliable food every visit. The Dr Pepper blackberry shake stood out with strong flavor and a clean finish. Staff moved the line fast and kept orders accurate. The dining area stayed clean and tables were cleared often. Some items needed a bit more heat and seasoning, but everything came out fresh. Worth the stop if you want quick service and a shake worth ordering again.
