It being my first time, the atmosphere was very beautiful to even the live music from the mariachis. Service was spot on, but as for the food the enchiladas were cold. And the tacos de papas and other items tasted bland. I’d say overall a 7.5 out of 10 rating. There carnitas were my favorite but would I come back here or recommend it’s a no for me. For 2 people during lunch on a Sunday he paid $47.50.

Fanny was an amazing waitress. We got fresh tortillas brought to us and our drinks were always being refilled. The food was amazing. A few we enjoyed very much was the brown mole and the fish. The desert was also on point, the flan was Yummy. I noticed there was ample parking and it was wheelchair accessible as well. They had a few games in the front for the kids. The artwork on the walls fit the place well. I also greatly appreciated the military discount. Overall this is a place I would want to come back to again not only for my self but to show my extended family where the good food is in san antonio.

This is the newer location in the area, and it looks great inside. The remodel is clean, modern, and well kept. The buffet has a solid mix of options, and everything stayed stocked and fresh while I was there. Lunch had Tex-Mex and Chinese dishes, and the menudo was honestly amazing and served generously. Even though it’s self-serve, the staff stayed on top of clearing tables and keeping things tidy. For the price, lunch is a really good deal. I’m glad they opened this new spot, and I’ll definitely be back soon.

Food was excellent. We came in the morning and found a great selection from your typical breakfast menu including barbacoa, tamales, menudo, and carnitas to a cereal, pancake, waffle, and yogurt bar. The corn tortillas tasted homemade. Service was on point, but the first impression left much to be desired; cashier at the register was putting on her full makeup at the front counter.

Saw a video review claiming food was so great, so decided to try it out. I think they paid for that review. Enchiladas were bland. Soda mixtures are off, they taste flat. Chinese food did not have much flavor to them. Atmosphere is neat and nice. Chile relleno is by far my favorite to eat but here it was not anything to what I would expect. All you could taste was egg

Tried the steak and it was cooked really well.
Home made tortillas both corn & flour . They have all the carnitas chicharrón al pastor & other great taco meats .
The soups like menudo have a home made taste .
They have a selection of chines buffet foods too . Lots of great desserts & ice cream.
I found the price reasonable & they have very helpful staff .

I went for a Wednesday work lunch because it’s near my office. My colleague and I thought the food was perfectly fine. The service was friendly and prompt and frequent for a buffet setting. The restaurant was verry clean and the servers quickly cleaned used plates and turned over tables quickly when vacated.
I was reading the other reviews and I wonder what ppl expect from a buffet? The business model is plenty of food that is good enough to eat in volume. It is not specialty dishes meant to wow your senses.
Even so, I went in with middle of the road expectations and came out with a better than expected experience. The personnel take high-quantity, large-volume food and bring it to a higher level due to their excellent service.
I’d recommend you check it out for yourselves!

Step by step review. Very impressed when we first went in. Most everything looked amazing. The caldo was good but plain, cheese enchiladas were generic, but the fried foods were greasy looking and not good. All and all not worth the time and money spent here. The people here are great but the food is not. About 30 minutes after we ate both of us got sick. Felt like we were going to lose our lunch and got nauseous bad. Sorry people not going back.

This place was amazing! Absolutely loved the service we received, my mom was chatting with the server a lot and the staff was super nice. The food was very fresh, which is saying something for a buffet haha, although that’s probably because a lot of their more popular items like the enchiladas and flautas go fast. I saw person after person replace the empty enchilada tray around 5 times with line ready for fresh mini tacos. I was gravitating a bit more towards the flautas personally but my family loved the enchiladas so I can only assume they were to die for. They also had rather generous topping for the assorted fried food from cheese, sour cream, and guacamole to salsa. Options are pretty varied even throwing in some Chinese buffet staples like fried rice and general tso’s. There’s something for everyone here! I will say it was a bit crowded; apparently this place was trending on tiktok, but as long as you are mindful, you won’t bump into people. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a Mexican cuisine oriented buffet

Went to the soft opening. Place looks spectacular! Awesome vibes and awesome service. Where can you find a buffet with menudo, steaks, and fresh homemade tortillas!? Carnitas were great and The sweet corn bread and flan were awesome.
