What a perfect gem, I wish it was down the street from my house. Great coffee, sandwiches, and grocery. We had the chopped cheese sandwich, which is the best cheeseburger you’ll ever have, and the Italian hero. The hoagie rolls are fantastic and the sandwiches are big. We grabbed chips and canned white wine from the frig. They have a nice selection of cold drinks including wine, beer, kombucha. The grocery has milk, eggs, lots of snacks, condiments, even produce. Can’t wait to go back and get the breakfast burrito and a coffee drink! When you are done, run across the street to the very cute bookstore, flower shop and artist collective.

Daylily is my favorite early morning bike ride destination. I love that they’re open early 7 days a week, and it’s always peaceful and quiet to sit out on the patio. Excellent coffee. You can’t go wrong with the egg & cheese sandwich. Order turnaround time has always been quick for me, but I’ve never been when it’s been super busy. Will visit again, many times.

Bodega has no business being this good. These bagels are delightful, tasty, and dangerously addictive. I came in “just to try it” and now I’m mentally rearranging my week around returning. Great service, great vibe, and the food is a straight-up win. Covington, protect this place at all costs. Owner was so kind and chill; so personable and welcoming.

Everything is delicious, but they have the best breakfast burrito in town! They also stock a lot of basic groceries which would definitely be handy if I lived nearby.

This place is awesome! A friend and I came in for a coffee. I had a cold iced lavender latte (it is not overly sweet like one would expect – it’s just perfect and as natural as can be).
They also have chocolates and candies commonly found several decades earlier, which was a nice touch. Also there’s a little grocery store in this place, where you can buy produce, coffee beans, prepared foods, salsas, and other cooking ingredients like coconut milk.
The gem of this place is the deck / sitting area in the back (pictured). There’s a covered deck outside and an uncovered part too, with plenty of trees / vegetation that provides a serene space.
Just go here. Staff is friendly, coffee is good, and the place is good. I think you’re going to like it.

These folks know how to make a good sandwich. Not too many places in town that do it this well, if any. I had the Italian for lunch a week ago and it was probably the best I’ve found in Cincinnati (since Bread Bar closed). Had to return because I’d heard they make the best authentic NY style BEC breakfast sandwich in town. I’d have to agree. The roll is on point, fresh and soft as it should be. High quality ingredients and bacon. Next time I’ll specify an over medium fried egg, because it comes scrambled standard, and I think a slightly runny fried egg is more authentic, though the scrambled version was very good and a cleaner eat on the go. 5 stars. A great addition to Cincinnati’s food scene. Let’s keep this spot thriving please so we don’t lose another winner.

Had their breakfast burrito and the honey bear latte with macadamia milk. I can’t even explain how it feels. First meal of the day and it is filling, energizing, and most importantly delicious despite being simple. Miss girl with the braids and Mister sir with the glasses and fancy mustache were very helpful and kind at the register. Never heard of macadamia milk but I have been enlightened. Miss girl with the colorful hair was whipping up a storm cooking my food, love a fast and efficient worker. And we appreciate workers that can label and date prepared foods and organize them first in, first out. Shout out to the workers doing in house prep. Let’s not forget the setup. It’s cute, very demure, very clean and organized. I might have a new spot to go to before I head to work.

I just picked up a to go order and got the all day breakfast burrito, and their Honey Bear latte(?). Last time I got a burrito it wasn’t the most flavorful, however I wanted to show my appreciation with this most recent order. The burrito was delicious, and the honey bear was perfectly sweet! Thank you Daylily Team, y’all have made my afternoon amazing if you’re on the east end side and want to stop by a lil cafe, I strongly recommend you stop by this place!
