This was my first visit, however I was with family who have been many times.
The staff were very friendly and polite, service was very good. The Sunday special menu is excellent value and the food delicious. The place itself is a loveky size, very homely. I will definitely be back.

We had a meal here on a Thursday evening. The service is excellent and the food is really good and tasty. There is a £15.95 5 course deal but we just decided to have what we fancied. As I said the food was exceptional and very tasty. The beer and wine was very good quality too. I would definitely recommend the place . Three course meal with a lot of drinks for 2 for £70. Who could complain?

Maybe it was an off day but my meal wasn’t great and the restaurant didn’t live up to the glowing reviews. My onion bhaji starter looked very impressive on the plate but tasted of the oil it was fried it. All I could taste was oil and I had to smother it in mint sauce to hide the taste of oil. My main course – Chicken Tikka Madras – was very hot, just as a madras dish should be, but it was rather bland with no flavour apart from the peppery sauce. Service was very good and the price of the meal was very reasonable.

Snazzy little Indian restaurant right next the Whitley bay coast line. It has a stand out menu, one of the best I’ve ever seen. If your looking to try something new they have a fantastic special menu for dishes from around the world, from Mongolia to pakistan, all with varied ingredients and spices. And they have the classic Indian dishes that everybody loves with all the trimmings, from starters to deserts. Not only this it has fantastic deals on weekdays and weekends where you can save money; ours was 5 courses for £12.95, coffee or ice cream and sides where counted as a course, but still exceptional value. The staff were very friendly and the whole place was clean and looked modern. Will definitely be going here again.

Have eaten and had takeaways for years this is by far the best takeaway food in Whitley Bay (and there’s a lot to choose from). Again tonight ordered 20 mins food spot on hot tasty would highly recommend… would have attached photos but I’ve ate it !!
