This was such an amazing time! I went with some friends and we all very much enjoyed it! Definitely recommend for friend groups! Food was delicious and we left very full! The service was also great! She explained the whole process very well and was very patient with all of our questions. Will definitely be coming back!

This place blew me away! I had never been to a Korean BBQ place before, so I really didn’t know what to expect. The server was great at explaining the whole process. The food was really good! And how cool is it that you can cook it yourself? The little buffet off to the side is nice too because you can eat a little while you wait for the meat/veggies to cook. I didn’t try the hotpot, but it looked really good. I highly recommend that you try this place out!

Fun place to eat. I’ve got no frame of reference for how hot pot places go, it was my first time trying one, but this was great.
Nice selection of veggies and protein. Good options for drinks. The mix your own sauce area was awesome.
Went with work friends and we had a blast.

Cooking your own dinner at the table can either be amazing… or a disaster. Tonight we found out which one it was.
Tonight we checked out Mr. Kimchi Korean BBQ & Hotpot for something a little different — all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ and Hot Pot.
We ordered the All-You-Can-Eat BBQ for $31.99 and added the Hot Pot option for another $5.
First Impressions
Right away the place felt very clean, modern, and spacious. There are three separate dining rooms, a full-service bar, and a large sides bar stocked with fried rice, noodles, spring rolls, sauces, different kimchis, desserts, and even an ice-cream cooler.
One thing that caught my attention when we sat down was the lack of vent hoods above the grills, which made me wonder if it would get smoky. Turns out each table uses a downdraft grill system, and it’s surprisingly quiet so you can actually hold a conversation while cooking your food.
Service
Our waiter was fantastic. Since it was our first time trying Korean BBQ, we told him that up front and he walked us through the entire experience. He was funny, helpful, and checked back on us multiple times to make sure everything was going smoothly.
Great service like that really makes a first-time experience better.
What I Ordered
We tried several of the pre-seasoned meats from the BBQ menu, which made things simple — most of the work is just putting it on the grill and letting it cook. White rice is available by request.
For the hot pot, they offer several broth choices including miso, vegetable, tom yum, and Szechuan. From there you can order different meats, vegetables, and noodles to cook in the broth.
I chose the Szechuan hot pot, which had great flavor and a solid level of heat. The peppercorns and capers definitely wake you up if you bite into one — sometimes a little unexpectedly — but overall it was very flavorful.
Pro Tip
Try grilling the bok choy first before adding it to the hot pot. It adds a really nice flavor.
The quail eggs were also a great addition.
Also be mindful when ordering — there are signs stating they may charge $13.99 for excessive uneaten food, so pace yourself.

Traditional hot pot and Korean BBQ. Literally dozens of different options to choose from. You select what types of meat and fish you would like. They bring it to you raw, and you cook it yourself on the hot plate and grill built into your table. So many items to choose from, but it’s all you can eat. There is also a buffet section. So make sure to sample everything. Customer service was exceptional. I would strongly caution people with food allergies, as cross-contamination will be very likely in this setting. Overall, if you’re looking for a different dining experience, where your the chef. make sure you check out, Mr. Kimchi. If you prefer a more traditional dining experience, this may not be a great fit for you.

Fast, reliable and respectable service throughout their servers. Although through time the place will become humid and overwhelming the atmosphere was upbeat and fast pacing. Their food was delivered to the table from 3-6 minutes after ordering it. Very well priced if you pace yourself!

Insanely delicious and great value!

My wife and I left absolutely full and happy! $52 before tip for lunch with unlimited desserts and appetizers. Couldn’t be better.

Flavors were fantastic, server was helpful and it was nice and quiet on a weekday at 1pm.

So many options, definitely will be back soon! We drove close to an hour and don’t mind at all!

My daughter and I dined in on their third day of soft opening. (8/14/2024) The service was great, and the staff was attentive to our needs. The speed was as expected and not slow, as time is needed to bring out the items to cook or eat. The selection isn’t bad, but could be broader in flavors. At this location, they have a bar right when you walk in. In the far back area, there is a section where there are a couple of prepared items such as Egg Rolls, Japchae, Kimchi, and Pickled Radish. Also included in that section are the ingredients to make your own dipping sauce to your liking, and finally, there are a variety of cut fruits. We decided to go with Korean BBQ and Hotpot, which at this time came out to $33.99 per person during dinner time, plus $5.00 for doing both options rather than just one. We finished approximately an hour after and were quickly assisted in receiving our check, and then left. Overall, I think that the inside looks as expected for a new place; however, I expect more of an update in the future where the atmosphere will feel a lot more natural, such as learning what volume to set the music at, or decorations and placement of certain tables or stands. I would return again and I recommend that you try it out for yourself.

Update: as of 9/2/2024

We’ve gone several times since they opened, and I will say that the decorations have improved. Therefore, the atmosphere rating has gone up. Additionally, the food selection in terms of sides and sauces has increased. They added Gochujang Paste in the sauce area, Korean Shrimp Chive Pancakes, Fried Chicken, Non-spicy Tteokbokki, Pickled Daikon, and Carrots. Overall, there have only been improvements.

Honestly I haven’t experienced this level of customer service and overall 100% satisfaction while visiting a new restaurant in a very long time. The presentation, the quality of the meats, the experience of cooking your own food Korean BBQ Style is on another level! I highly recommend this place to EVERYONE!

Food was fun to cook and great tasting. Server was excellent, seriously best server I think I’ve ever had. All the food was good.

We did korean bbq, everything was great, my girls loved the garlic pork belly.

The price is debatable, I’m 230 lbs and can eat my money’s worth. But my girls are like 4’9″ and 120 lbs and only eat like 10$ worth of food.

So 32$ might be a bit much for the smaller appetites.

But the bonding family experience is great and worthwhile.

They have a great appetizer section with sauces and desserts as well. Overall we had a wonderful time.
