Heard about this place and having build your own burritos. I online ordered a shrimp burrito with Mexican rice cilantro refried beans onion pico de gallo sour cream. I also ordered a small queso which came with an extra bag of chips. The orders there come with chips and salsa but ordering the small queso come with extra chips. The chips were luke warm and were unsalted however the freshness of the salsa and the goodness of the queso made up for it. The burrito ended up being huge. I took a few bites and out the rest in fridge. I noticed the freshness of thw cilantro. Everything was very good. The burrito had a slight lemon lime flavor which was okay. Next time i would like to order fresh guacamole. When I went in to pick up my order, the clean smell is what I noticed first along with having a clean appearance. Everything seemed to be wiped down, counters , floors. I was very grateful to notice the cleanliness from the restaurant I was getting food from. I will be returning in the future to sit down.

We don’t have a Chipotle in Alexandria, and I always feel a little left out whenever someone raves about how amazing it is. But honestly, I eat at Javi P’s at least once a week—and I absolutely love it.
Last weekend, I visited New Orleans and finally tried Chipotle. Trust me, Javi P’s is so much better! They offer flavorful Cilantro Rice or Mexican Rice as a base, and it’s absolutely delicious. Plus, they give free tortilla chips with every order and let you pick up to 8 dips at no extra cost.
In my opinion, no other Mexican place comes close. If you haven’t tried Javi P’s yet, you’re missing out—I highly recommend it!

Their food is so good and delicious. But the big Mexican man is so rude to his customers. I’m a regular there and so I see them a lot and he’s been rude before but I just thought he was having a bad day but no he’s just always rude for no reason. I give this place 2 stars because the man is just so rude. I don’t think someone has ever been rude to me like this.

Javi PS is absolutely amazing! The food is packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, delicious, and full of personality. The staff is friendly and the overall experience is top-notch. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to again and again

I really LOVE their burritos and so far that is all Ive purchased because they are delicious! I just moved from California to Louisiana a few months ago so I’ll try other dishes eventually but this as been a great start!

My first visit went very well, i got the beef nachos which i highyl recommend. The meat was very tender and flavorful.You get to make your own food bowl, burrito, etc. and they have alot of differant toppings to chose from all were so fresh. The staff was very nice and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and cozy. Parking is very limited.

Good fast customer service. All the vegetables and everything looked fresh. The chicken looked a little over cooked, tasted a little burnt but the beef was great. Everything else just like chipotle but on the expensive end than chipotle
