This place is Excellent. A brand new spot here in Del City Oklahoma. Our tastiest Hispanic restaurant yet. Take my word for it!! They are trending for a good reason. Try out their Shredded chicken tacos…tender, moist and yummy delicious and their specially made Cantaritos liquor sipped inside a huge pottery jar for $14.99. It is worth every drop. Prices are reasonable up to $20 per person. Quick service only 10-15 minutes wait time and freshly made by the order Tortilla chips. A tasty Salsa bar and hospitable hostesses. I will enjoy this place anytime I’m craving Tacos and Tequila. They also have a band and live music on select days open till 1am.

We tried this place for lunch twice and both times it was great! My friend and I went and they were so busy, but we were served very quickly and the food cam out quickly and it was so good. I got the street tacos and my friend to the vegetarian taco salad and we were both very pleased with it. My steak street tacos were so good. The steak was tender and very flavorful with the cilantro and onions and the corn tortillas look hand made and they are so good! I went back a second time and was just as pleased with the food, but forgot to take pictures. We got the burritos this time. The service was great. The place is clean as well as the bathrooms. The prices are in line with the quality that you get. Definitely worth it to give them a try! We will be back and will highly recommend.

Tonight I had the pleasure of dining at Cantaritos Tacos & Tequila, and it was nothing short of a flavor fiesta. From the moment we walked in, the vibrant energy of the place set the tone—colorful signage, upbeat atmosphere, and a salsa bar that promised heat and heart.

I ordered the pineapple chicken, and it was a showstopper. Two juicy, grilled chicken breasts were topped with sweet pineapple rings and plump shrimp, all drenched in creamy queso. The chicken was seasoned to perfection—smoky, savory, and kissed with tropical sweetness from the pineapple. It sat atop a bed of flavorful Mexican rice, with fresh pico de gallo, crisp lettuce, and sour cream that added just the right tang. The plate was generous and beautifully plated, with textures and colors that made it as appealing to the eyes as it was to the taste buds.

My date went with the birria tacos, and they were absolutely mouthwatering. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, packed with shredded beef and garnished with cilantro and onions. The consommé was rich and aromatic—perfect for dipping and sipping. Paired with lime wedges and a side of rice and beans, it was a comforting, satisfying dish that hit every note.

We started with an order of queso, which had a creamy, velvety texture and was served with crispy house-made chips. It reminded me of a gourmet spin on a classic comfort dip—simple, addictive, and perfect for sharing.

Now let’s talk about the salsa bar. I tried the creamy green jalapeño salsa, and it was phenomenal—smooth, spicy, and full of flavor. It had a bold jalapeño kick without overpowering the dish, and I ended up grabbing several containers of each salsa to keep the flavor party going.

To wash it all down, we shared a frozen blue raspberry and strawberry mixed margarita, served in a massive goblet-style glass with a sugared rim, lime wedge, and fruit garnish. It was visually stunning—swirls of icy blue and red, topped with an orange slice and cherry—and tasted just as good as it looked. Sweet, tangy, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of tequila.

The exterior of the restaurant is just as inviting as the food—bright, colorful signage and a welcoming entrance that hints at the fun and flavor inside. It’s located in a shopping plaza, but once you step through the doors, you’re transported into a lively, festive space that celebrates bold flavors and good vibes.

Cantaritos Tacos & Tequila has officially earned a spot in my top three New Mexican restaurants in Oklahoma. The menu is stacked with dishes I’m eager to try next, and the atmosphere, flavors, and service make it a must-visit. Highly recommend!

The food here is amazing! The tortillas are made fresh from scratch, and you can really taste the difference. The tacos are delicious, and the birria pizza is great & perfect for sharing! I also loved that there’s a good variety of salsas to choose from and the bar is a nice bonus if you’re in the mood for drinks. Overall, the experience was great highly recommend checking it out!

Well, the food was okay…but the 1 star is charging for more tortillas when you only provide 3 small tortillas. Spending $27 for molcajete and charging extra for tortillas is criminal.
I don’t even like tortillas! But you cant eat a decent size, sizzling bowl of molcajete with all the sauce without something to even out all the favor and juices.

The food is also way over priced. Taco plate for $5 a taco is pretty nutty.

Way better places on the Southside for much less, regardless of having a store front or not.

They also didnt offer us cups for water either. Have to ask for every little thing.

I decided to pick up lunch today for my husband and I. The Sooner queso dip is outstanding, my husband loved his Asada Chimichanga meal, my asada tacos were fantastic and we shared the California on the Beach which included chicken, rice and queso. Carol was such an amazing cashier. I will definitely be visiting again real soon to try the quesaBirria tacos and other menu items. Definitely a 10/10!!!!!

We came here one night staff is super friendly, the only thing I can say is that we waited a very long time to get out food and just seemed like a lot of confusion to get our food, so have our table got food different times and some waiting.

The asada and the pastor was really good along with the tortillas that came with it. Carne asada fries were good just needed more meat for the price I think. Fries and tenders, fries were a bit frozen still on my sons plate. The chicken was really good. Salsa bar was great and flavorful.
My nachos could have been better if the beef wasnt on there, which I assumed is would have been asada bc asada is beef. Nope I was wrong. The beef didnt tast good at all. Next time ill switch that then they should be great.
