I used to come here often pre 2020. Bit pricey for a smoking bar but the food was decent. I just stopped in on December 22nd 2025 and the bartender laughed at me when I asked if Miller lite was still 3.75$ a pint draft. “It hasn’t been that price in years buddy.” Very unprofessional and took other people’s order before mine. A Miller lite pint shouldn’t be 4.50$ on a Monday night in a smoking bar. Stay away, this place was always a facade of high class low brow bars. The amber inn is right down the road and much more friendly staff and better atmosphere.

My favorite Dive bar in Doylestown….maybe the only one in Doylestown. Not many bars left were you can enjoy second hand smoke, cheap beer and shots with a bar box with questionable walls to block your shot. I hope this place never closes.

Old fashioned Irish, hole in the wall bar. Good place to grab a beer, some wings and watch the games.
Cater to locals or regulars. Can be intimidating to out of towners. Be friendly and you would be welcomed here.
Smoking allowed so it could be a turn off for some.

I wandered in here on a Saturday to grab a pint of Guinness and to get out of the sun to rest my bones on a comfortable chair which I found here. Upon entering I noticed the ash trays and that heavy smoky nicotine smell I grew accustomed to when I also smoked cigarettes in bars. It brought back memories of good times with friends. I was greeted warmly by the bar person and served promptly with a Guinness and some local Doylestown conversation. I couldn’t stay long and I had already eaten but I will surely go back on a Saturday for some more conversation a pint and some food of course!!

Fun pub with a classic feel. It has a little bit of a dive bar feel, but in a cozy way. They have a pool table and a golf arcade game and a bar that takes up most of the space. They have a fridge that you can get take-away beer too which was great for us because they stocked a beer that I wanted to get for my father-in-law.

Best wings I’ve ever had. They are nice and crispy. Nice selection of flavors as well. You can get sauces or dry rubs. Wednesdays offer an all you can eat wing special! There is a good selection of craft beers as well.

The only downside is that smoking is allowed in the bar, and it is cash only. There is an ATM in the bar to withdraw cash for a surcharge if needed.

Rich is the man! We walked in for a quick beer as we were exploring the town. We had a bottle of wine with us for our BYOB dinner later and Rich put it on ice for us! He let us keep it there as we explored and waited for our reservation. Very friendly and welcoming! Good beer suggestions too.

Love this spot. One of the last places that allows smoking, watching the eagles with a cigar is a thrill. Great wings and whiskey/tequila selection.
