We found this place on social media and decided to go for a visit. When we arrived at the location there were a few people there, but not crowded. Upon walking in, we checked out the atmosphere of the location and liked the vibe. There were a lot of sports related things in the bar as well as multiple TVs and a jukebox in the bar as well. We did not have to wait long to be served. We ordered appetizers and drinks. We placed our meal orders shortly thereafter. While waiting for our drinks and appetizers, we watched a little bit of football on one of the screens. Our appetizer ( deviled eggs ) was served within about 5 minutes after placing the request. Our main entrees wer served within about 15 minutes or so. We ordered wings fries catfish, cabbage and dirty rice. The deviled eggs were pretty good. I enjoyed the wings and the flavor of the wings. I got lemon pepper and garlic Parmesan. The lemon pepper were tasty and the garlic parmesan wings were saucy and good. The catfish was of a decent size, but we would have liked another piece. It was very flaky and very good. We enjoyed the taste of it. The dirty rice was pretty good as well. The cabbage was overly seasoned with pepper. We did still like the cabbage, but it could have used a little less pepper. Overall we enjoyed our meals at the location and would visit the location again.

Went for my 21st birthday definitely was an amazing experience for me. My mother took me here 100% I would recommend to go here their food was so delicious the bartender was very kind and was making sure we was good believe his name is Tyler but he did he big one. Wonderful place

I hate leaving less than 4 stars but here is why:
This was my first visit, I try somewhere new monthly and my cousin was attending an event here (we did not know the nature of it prior to arrival) there were 5 in our party and we arrived shortly after 7pm on a Saturday. We sat where we thought was w/ the group event and it was seemingly verified by a waitress. The event did not have a lot of people there yet and our order was placed around 7:30. My husband arrived about 40 minutes after me and my drink nor my appetizer had arrived yet. My cousins & the other 2 had not at that point received their order either. We inquired after the party next to us who arrived after us got their food (which we thought partner it was ours but they accepted it so…). We were told they were working on it & since it was our 1st time in & we don’t know if this was normal we patiently waited longer then inquired again and was told that they were still working on it. By now more of the event party had arrived & staff were hustling to get orders taken. By 8:45 I had finished my drink & went to the bar to cancel my order. I was told no, which was simply wrong. While I am understanding, waiting over an hour w/ no food is not what I want to pay for. I ho back to the table and was ready to bite $50 so my cousin would not get stuck w/ the bill or trouble for not paying for my stuff that had yet to arrive, the bartender (different one & one of the managers) sought to make it right and have us wait. Now is a good time to bring up the seating issue. Apparently all of us along the window were sitting in reserved seats, just not the ones for the party. Remember I said it was seemingly verified we were ok? We were not and had been told at 8:30 we needed to vacate by 9pm so that the people who had reserved the table could have their space. So by 9pm we are leaving my husband who arrived after me received his whole meal and ate and I never got the app I ordered. We get our bill which was about $17 for my husband’s catfish meal & our 2 drinks. When we left, I vowed NEVER to drive there again & supporting this black owned business.
But then I read an article & I know how it feels to own a business and things don’t always run smoothly. I am sure they do not want to be judged by this one night. If I am invited back, I am willing to see what a true Saturday night with this restaurant is supposed to be like. With a 4.4 star rating, it HAS to be better than my experience. As a veteran black woman owned 501c3 owner I get how vital supporting a business can be.

Great food! Service was great Dawn was very attentive even in the crowded restaurant. I didn’t get the name of my server the second time however he was good also. The band and the DJ were both amazing. The ladies that sang had beautiful voices. They engaged the audience so well. I will be back!

Visited this sports lounge while I was in Dallas. I love live music Saturdays. Did. The drinks are okay? Not as strong as I’m used to but still good service. Good and I always seem to visit this spot when I’m in Dallas.

Such a chill vibe with Amazing food. I had the fish which was fried to perfection and seasoned just right. The greens and yams were on point. Somebody granny made that. Taste like home and everyone was family. The patio gets crowded but it reminds you of a kickback with a live DJ and two TV’s to show your favorite game. Inside on Friday night you’ll find a live band as well so bring your Boo there is room to dance. I will definitely return.

Amazing venue for sports watching, food, entertainment, and socializing. Location is great as well. It is very safe starting from the parking lot, and how very well it’s lit up to the security guards at the door. Staff is amazing as well. I think they have a very well known band that comes atleast once a month to perform. All in all, it is definitely a great vibe, and is most definitely worth a visit. You will NOT be disappointed.

I came to celebrate a friend’s birthday and we had a great time. The food was great. I had the catfish, yams and collared’s ( it did have smoked turkey meat in it) I just took it out but still was great. There is a live band here and they are great! Glad I stopped in .
