Pro tip: ask to sit in Amanda’s section. She’s friendly, super efficient, and knows the cocktail and food menu inside and out, exactly the kind of server you hope for on a great night out.
Do not leave without ordering the Birdcage Flight for Two (so fun and totally worth it), and whatever you do, don’t miss A Pigeon Walks Into a Bar. Trust me on this one, so yummy, you might have to order more than one.
*Beautiful view of the city
*The chill laid back atmosphere
*Plenty of seating overall (open seating)
*Drinks were good
*Good selection of music
What we didnt like:
*Not so much options for drinks
*Wished they would close a little later
*Paid parking and a hassle to look for parking in downtown.
Overall we enjoyed our time here. Do recommend if you want a chill bar vibe and not so much craziness happening. Valet parking is available at $5/per hour (if I’m not mistaken)
The bartender openly ignored customers for extended periods. No acknowledgment. No “I’ll be right with you.” Nothing. Just deliberate avoidance. To make it even more surreal, they wore an earbud the entire time—because apparently whatever was playing was more important than the people standing directly in front of them trying to order drinks or pay.
I was with two other people, and all three of us have worked in the service industry. We are patient to a fault. We understand bad nights, staffing issues, and burnout. We tip well and give grace freely. For all of us to walk away frustrated means this wasn’t a rough shift—it was outright neglect.
It’s genuinely impressive how a place with such a beautiful, thoughtfully designed atmosphere can be completely undermined by service so inattentive it borders on disrespectful. A great bar isn’t just mood lighting and decor—it’s hospitality. And that was nowhere to be found here.
If you want to admire a room while being made to feel invisible, this is your spot. If you actually want a drink without feeling like an inconvenience, look elsewhere.
