High quality type of restaurant. I had a very pleasant experience. I ordered the baked chicken with string beans. The best seasoned baked chicken I have had to date. The bartender made me a strawberry margarita that had a nice blend of flavors. I will return when I am in the area.

My friend and I ate here for my birthday dinner/ the beginning of Bourbon and Beyond. While the food was good it was nothing to write home about. We had the goat cheese corn fritters with blueberry jam, and these were by far the star of the meal. I had the prime rib with broccolini and smoked gouda mac and cheese. The mac and cheese and brocolini were very good for what they were. But the prime rib was a bit cold a slightly chewy. She had the Kansas city strip which she said was very good. Our drinks were okay. The biggest down fall to our dinner was the service. Our server seemed shocked at the fact that she was sat a table, and seemed to be fairly new. It took a while to get everything to our table we waiting about 30 minutes just for our drinks. While the food was good. I dont think ill be back.

My wife and I decided to take an adventure to Louisville. We luckily found Al’s Table. The atmosphere and cleanliness draw you in. The staff, food, and drinks keep you. We had such a great time, we’ve decided to go back for a second night. If you are anywhere near, come experience the ambience while sitting on the deck next to the fire.

We were particularly pleased with some of the staff. Sabrina helped us 2 or 3 times with meals, drinks and our bill. She went out of her way to serve us, even though she was the restaurant manager. Sabrina was thoughtful and tried her get to meet our needs. The food was delicious. Late night snack, 3 breakfast buffet meals, a lunch and a dinner. All the meals were so good.
I would love to visit Al’s Table next time we’re in Louisville.

So we ate here a couple of times this week. Twice for dinner and once for breakfast. Dinner the 1st time was good. I had lemon rosemary chicken. I enjoyed it. The service was acceptable, they were busy. The 2nd time I had the Meatloaf. It was not great. I honestly only ate maybe 2 bites of it. The service wasn’t great either. The table beside us had their entrees served to them before their appetizers even came out. We had the breakfast bar one morning only because it was $22 a person and absolutely not worth that. The Next morning we ended up just going down the road to Cracker Barrel. Much better. Anyway, the Best dish out of everything we tried between my husband and myself was the smoked gouda Mac n cheese. 5 stars on that.

Ordered the fried green tomatoes and tomato soup. Both left a lot to be desired. The tomatoes tasted like they had no seasoning whatsoever. The tomato soup was just okay. Also the food arrived in plastic containers with plastic utensils. You would think that such a nice hotel could do better. Room service should definitely include proper dishes. This is no different than ordering food from takeout. Room service should be special.

Excellent food, super friendly staff, and a relaxed atmosphere to boot. This will be my go to hotel restaurant when I’m staying in the area. Once again it slipped this photographers mind to snap photos of the food, dining room or bar. The meatloaf is great, and if you love garlic and butter the Garlic Broccolini was a great surprise.

We didn’t know it was in a hotel. It looked like a Village Inn with a bar but we were already there so we decided to stay. It was 8 pm on a Friday. We got sat right away. Our server was great but seemed like she was the only one working the whole restaurant. My husband and I had cocktails. We ordered the corn fritters. Our daughter had the fried chicken and Mac and cheese. We shared the garlic crusted prime rib with broccolini. OMG… we were floored. I’m glad we shared cause it was a big plate and it was delicious. Cooked perfectly and thick. We weren’t even that hungry and we tore it up. The broccoli was good and the Mac and cheese was on point. We weren’t pleasantly surprised. I didn’t taste the fried chicken but I heard it was good.
