Im giving 2 stars because of how much I loved it here until today. I loved coming here, especially when Kelsey managed it and made it a weekly if not twice a week stop. It broke my heart when she got sick and left. It wasnt until after the crew she trained had all left that service and quality dropped. Several sandwiches I ordered came back wrong. Onions when I asked for tomatoes or dripping when I asked for light on the mayo. Not a big deal, I utilize the Upside cash back so I didn’t complain but today I ordered through the drive thru like I often do. The gal who took my order was short and rude like they were busy but it was her, two other workers and one customer they were chatting with. Not a big deal. Took a bit for half a ham sandwich with cheese and nothing else but no problem. Paid for my food, left a tip and went home only to open sandwich to find a long metal shaving nestled in the ham. I thought it was a peice of wilted lettuce at first, thank God I didnt just shrug and ignore it. I never order lettuce on my sandwiches but a stray piece always seems to make it somehow. But when I went to pick it off, it was sharp and shiny. I get it probably came off a knife that was sharpened and not cleaned or off the slicer but… Im good. I think San Francisco Sourdough and I are going to take a break for a bit. No hard feelings…

The sandwiches are so delicious The bread is absolutely amazing! Sometimes I order a loaf to go to take home because it’s so good! The staff is super friendly and they have the best pint prices ever!!! No one can beat $4 a pint everyday all day!

Started out in the drive thru and there was no movement after 10 minutes. Pulled into the parking lot and went inside. 5 clueless people working. The 2 trucks that were in front of us in drive thru left. Ordered a turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese and no mayo just mustard. There was hardly any meat on the sandwich and so much mustard it was almost inedible. See pictures.

The soup is so yummy, but we went there for breakfast, and they lady working was not nice and she messed up my sandwich order, plus after waiting 8min for the hash browns (which we were fine with) mine were still ice cold… this is why I struggle with tipping before I get the food, what a waste of time and money. Horseradish has no flavor, not enough meat, bread selection is mediocre at best, Subway is a better option.
They made it quick and you can tell in the experience of eating this thing called a sandwich but it’s essentially a hoagie roll slopped together with cheap ingredients.

Wow wow wow. First off we love spurdough bread so we had to try this place and it didnt disappoint at all. Had the italian full.size sandwich with roasted red pepper soup. So so so good. They even give.you extra bread for dipping.
Hubby was so taken with it he stopped talking and just sat back and enjoyed it. He usually says something..
This location is in a gas station/truck stop so its a little unnerving at first but theres tables and chairs and caring staff
The food wasnt as cheap as some fast food places but its worth every penny.

It is great to have a QSR out here on this end of town, and having the somewhat healthy San Francisco Sourdough Eatery is awesome! However…we showed up 15 min to 6pm on a Saturday night (earliest SSD store closing in the area) and the customer service was not great. Apparently they close at 6pm. Hard to fathom closing at 6 on Saturday night in July. So we tipped 20%, ahead of the service and still were treated like we were puttingthem out, even though we were there a full 15 min. prior to close and we took it to go,so they didn’t have to clean up after us. They were a 5 star prior, only 4 now. If this was my only experience here I would have given a 3.
