Too much for so little…. ordered the salmon bites with fries and the whiting with fries…. both absolutely horrible. The grease was old which impacted the quality of the food…, Salmon was completely dry and flavorless. It definitely needed some kind of dipping sauce (doesn’t come with one) to even chew. The fries were greasy and soggy but seasoned… The fish was mushy, tasted old and was completely inedible. Wasted money and time…. both are priceless these days… reminder of why I cook at home.

My experience at J.R. Crickets in Forest Park was just okay overall. It was a slow night, so service felt a bit dragged out, and while the food was decent, it didn’t really stand out. The biggest downside for me was having to pay just to get in—that definitely took away from the experience and didn’t feel justified for what was offered. The atmosphere was chill, but between the slow pace and the entry charge, it’s not a spot I’d rush back to. It’s not terrible, just very average.

I had the 8 piece lunch special, honey hot wings,Food was so good I didn’t get a chance to take a picture lolbs. Came during lunch time, inside looks good with up to date/ up to par furniture. They are definitely a vibe. Bathroom could look better but I think this place just opened or reopened so it will soon. I’m definitely coming back, if it’s in the hood you know the food bout to be good!

Me and my cousin were looking for somewhere to have a drink so stopped in here. Was immediately greeted at the door to sit anywhere as they were doing line dance classes. The bartender is great and very attentive. They have several food/drinks specials. I chose the $5 2 pc fish and fries. It came out and was hot and seasoned well. I will definitely be back as they have different events nightly

Yesterday me and my boyfriend came for Valentines day to eat some good food. When we get there security tried to grab my boyfriend arm and they made us pay $35 at the door for the person who was suppose to perform or whatever event it was to get in. There were no seats, we had to stand and no one came to acknowledge us or to see if we need something. So we left and went to Apple bee’s. And the lady Brittaney at the door said she would send us our $35 but didn’t and declined our request. So it was a bad 1st time experience.

We ordered the Wings and Things for $21.99, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The wings were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. We also tried the “Sex in the Driveway” drinks, which were not only tasty but also had a nice kick to them.
Overall, the combination of delicious food, strong drinks, and outstanding customer service made for a memorable evening. I can’t wait to return!

A chill spot with cool vibes. The owner, Rico, is very intentional about your patronage. He assures that you are satisfied. Our server, Briana, was excellent. Very attentive and polite. The food and drinks were great! No complaints!
