Great place for Japanese dining with friends in South Beach. The restaurant has a beautiful decor and an open kitchen which is nice! Compared to other places it’s on the pricey side, but the quality didn’t disappoint… everything we tried was fresh and delicious! The only reason I’m not giving this place 5 stars is because we had to ask for the Miami Spice Menu as no one introduced it to us and once asked the server seemed not to happy about it. My opinion is if the restaurant participates in Miami Spice than it should be offered to the guests, otherwise don’t participate! Anyways it’s still one of the good restaurants in the area and definitely a go to place!

You can see Kengo Kuma in their design choice including the restrooms.
Their menu is equally impressive when they added truffle, foi gras and egg on a few sushis creating this explosion of texture, aroma, flavors and pleasure in your mouth.
The service is great, and the sushimen and Wilder (sushigirl) are absolutely fantastic!!!

Excellent Japanese restaurant with amazing service. From the welcoming of the host, through the order of food and the plates being brought to the table the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. The food is delicious, I highly recommend the Salmon truffle, Yuzo Hamachi, the Wagyu Gyoza, and the Kosushi King. My new favorite in Japanese style food.

Cute spot in south pointe. Service was great, food came out as fast as we ordered it – the opposite of typical sobe service. Prices are steep for what you get and the sushi is all priced per single piece. Random but the bathrooms are super cool!

The ambience of the restaurant is the only thing I wouldn’t change.
Prices not according to service nor product. Basic sushi and starters, nothing exceptional. Super expensive wine menu. But the worse was the service, and the service charge it’s automatically added to your bill (18%), plus “resort fee” which is completely ridiculous. If anyone from Kosushi can explain this I will appreciate it. Also: the waiter said that the service charge was not the tip. What does this even mean??? He was claiming for more tip even though his service was the worse I lately receive in Miami. He just left the wine there and only poured one glass out of five. Asked him for a fork several times and the runner was the only one bringing it to the table.
Will not be back.

Outstanding Sushi that we didn’t have for a while after we lost our favorite sushi places due to the COVID restrictions that killed many good restaurants or simply lost their good chefs
Here we are at south beach in area that has become a food district for high end expensive and good restaurants.
The maki was super good and the toro tartare also the eels and the wasabi was a real and authentic
The waiters are friendly but the service was slow and need some improvement
Overall we like the place and we will comeback to make sure it is the real deal and will keep you posted

3rd time here at Kosushi and they have removed some items from the menu. Everything was very good, very fresh but I was not as blown away as my first two visits. We ate more sashimi this time, so I may have missed some of their previously tried specialties. Yet still a great place to have sushis!
