A bit more upscale than the other drinking establishment I visited, this was more comfortable and more open. Definitely not a dive bar and more like a beer bar.
I was able to study the list and select a beer, then found a great seat by the window that not only had a view of the street and a little bit of a breeze but also a power outlet.
About two hours (and two beers) later, I had caught up on my Yelp reviews for the day, I had done some people watching, and I was ready to meet my friend for dinner across the street.

Steve and Lindsey will go out of their way to make sure you feel like family here! This is the most comforting chill bar ever and there’s always something happening here whether live music or art receptions, you NEED to stop in and try a brew or bourbon!

3 of us gals drove from Iowa to hear Ben Green play. I loved the atmosphere. Everyone was so welcoming. The drinks were great. I had gin and tonic with lime. The staff and customers were so loving and kind!! Met Steve, Steve and Kevin… highly recommend hanging out here. We will be back even if its a 4 1/2 hour drive.

The co owner is the rudest person I have met in Jefferson City and that’s saying a lot. Overpriced drinks, the inside is small and uncomfortable. The “locals” are very unwelcoming if you don’t match their “group”. I will never go back worst bar in Jefferson City.

This is a nice small cozy Pub, everyone there is friendly, the barkeep never met a stranger. The drinks are nice and strong and affordable. It’s a very comfortable warm environment and you never know when there’s going to be some live music playing. It’s a great place to catch up with friends. There are restaurants across the street or next door that you can get stuff from and bring it over if you have to eat while you imbibe. Has a nice selection of beers and other hard spirits. Absolutely the best place in Jeff City for beer lovers. A small bar with a great atmosphere, and a constantly changing variety of excellent beers on tap. Plus live music every week. The owner knows beer better than most anyone I’ve met, and loves to showcase local brews on tap right next to world class beers. Top notch.

Wonderful small bar with great beer and whiskey selections. But the best part was the owner/bartender who was so friendly and fun to talk to. He gave us great recommendations and a good sense of what Jeff City was about.
