Wow! Great bar right on the riverfront. Don’t let the small town vibe fool you. They have a legitimate list of cocktails! A very well designed remodel in a building from 1876. Anna is fun and will take great care of you.

Brand new venue in downtown New Haven, and it’s a good one. Lots of beer, great mixed drinks, and a decent wine list. We only had time for a glass so we didn’t get to try the food on this visit but we will be back.

To be fair, we were almost the only people in the place at 2pm on a Saturday, but that’s expected and usually why we like to go at that time. It’s a bit upscale; the service was great. My BLT was really good and very large. My husband’s pizza was good (Peperoni), but he said he wished it had onions and tomatoes on it also. It was only a 12″ and was a bit pricey for that size, but he said it was really good.
My old fashioned was really good also. I would have given this a 4.5 if I could have, just because of the prices, but didn’t want to slight them since everything else was very good.

Beautifully decorated, loved the chandelier over the bar. Interesting cocktail, wine list, lunch and dinner menu. We had crab cakes and will be back to try more. Great experience and chat with bartender.

The space is beautiful and the staff is friendly. The food was ok but not well thought out. My waffle fries were broken up and way undercooked but the salad was decent. The grilled pesto wrap had a glaze drizzle on top of it which made it awkward to eat as a sandwich. Prices were about right. They had just opened so maybe they are working out the logistics. Would visit again to check them out next time I’m in the area.

Wolf + Ferry is a fantastic local restaurant that offers great service, a robust food and cocktail menu, and an overall delightful experience! Our family has been here multiple times and has never been disappointed. We are really fortunate to have this gem just a few minutes from home. It’s definitely a go-to place if you live in, or are visiting, New Haven – highly recommend!

Beautifully restored historic building. Interior remodeled CA chic warm, comfortable, welcoming. Premium an extensive wine selections. Sunday brunch is a destination visit. Nicely varied dinner & lunch menu. Well worth a detour off the main road.

5 tables came and left before we got our food. The waitress blamed the kitchen staff. I asked how the other tables were able to get their food and drinks before we did and she finally admitted that she was at fault. I’ve never received such horrible service. I normally don’t write reviews but this was so bad I felt the need to warn others.
