I visited on a Thursday evening craving some nostalgia from years gone by and taking advantage of advertised price discounts. The online ordering process went quite smoothly for me, as I was able to place my order in a few minutes and get an accurate estimate (10-15 minutes) of readiness at the end. The exterior and interior of this location looked clean. My order was waiting in a warning bag which helped to preserve some warmth in my pizza. Along with a small half Hawaiian half veggie pizza, I also asked for orders of boneless chicken and cinnamon bread twists.

The boneless chicken has a different appearance than what I remembered, much paler and unfortunately less appetizing. The barely warm pieces really needed the sauce I ordered to give these items any flavor. The pizza was warmer than the other items and was completed accurately with light cheese as requested. I barely tasted the marinara sauce for the normal portion requested. Some toppings tasted okay such as the bacon, ham, pineapple, and onion. Others such as mushrooms and tomato had unattractive looks and lacking taste at least to me. The bread twists were disappointing as they were dry both inside and out with little flavor even with the liberal sprinkling of whatever was sprinkled on top.

My total bill came to just over $30 including tax. The middle rating comes from the convenience of the ordering process and speed of fulfilling my order and the mostly lacking food quality. Corporate Domino’s needs to provide some refreshed options to compete with the growing market for pizza options in metro areas such as this one. Their employees who strike me as generally well meaning deserve better items to sell than the seemingly tired ones currently being offered — discounts or not.

I’ve been coming to this Dominos for literal decades and will never order from here again. I often place large orders for the school and most recently when I called they increased the price per pizza by $3. When I placed the order the gentleman I spoke with was incredibly rude and made my large order seem like an inconvenience. I wasn’t able to pay over the phone until the day of the order which made even more work necessary. They refused to deliver at the time we wanted so we scheduled it for earlier to accommodate them. Then the day of the delivery they showed up an additional 20 minutes early so I hadn’t even made it to the school yet. Apparently they never told the staff that there was a specific time we had set for delivery. After that incident I decided I would never order for the school again but would order for us personally. Then Halloween came.

I placed an order shortly before 5pm. At 4:55 the tracker said the pizzas were being made. When it came close to 6pm I tried calling the store. A person picked up and HUNG UP ON ME 20 times. Not figuratively, they literally hung up on me 20 times. After the 15th time I decided to drive over but continued to call. They finally picked up when I got there. When I came in they told me that they would START working on my order in 40 minutes and that they were busy and I would just have to wait. There was no apology, only excuses. They had said they got 200 orders at the same time which I know was not accurate because I had heard the manager tell one of the employees they were catching up from a previous incident. There was no apology for hanging up on me repeatedly. There was no customer service. What was insane is that there was one person (the manager) who was rolling out the dough, one person doing toppings and one person putting pizzas in. There were 6 employees standing there doing nothing. The guy at the front kept asking his manager questions but the manager had his air pods in so he couldn’t hear. Instead of taking his air pods out he yelled at the guy that he couldn’t hear him. Finally I asked them to cancel my order and provide receipt that they refunded my card which turned out to be a huge issue because apparently they have no way of providing a receipt for anything other than a .5″ slip that says void with a random order number that matched nothing that I had. When I insisted on a receipt the manager yelled at me that I was accusing him of robbing me. No, I just can’t trust a place that can’t get their act together to do their jobs. All I kept hearing was that it was Halloween and we (their customers) just had to deal with it. I shouted back, took a screen shot and left.

Afterwards, I went to Papa Johns. My husband placed an order while I drove to the location. They too, were incredibly busy and had an hour wait. The difference was that the staff was friendly. They were ALL working together to get orders completed. When another customer was not pleased with the way the toppings were on their order, the team corrected it right away. Same situation, completely different outcome completely based on customer service. I never used to go to Papa Johns but they earned my loyalty while Dominos failed miserably.

What’s even worse is that Dominos corporate reached out to the owner of the location and the owner refused to follow their directions and reach out. I urge you to stay away and go to Papa Johns in Vienna instead!

Twice in a row I’ve ordered and they are simply not making the pizza. Don’t lie to people about how long it will take to complete an order. This is not complicated.

The first time, I went to the store after the pizza was stated to be ready, and they hadn’t even begun making it. Then they made the completely wrong pizza.

The second time, they misquoted timing again, so I reached out because something is clearly off.

Updated after speaking with the franchisee. Whoever runs this location seriously needs customer service training. It was cosmic irony when the man said, “that is up to Domino’s”…sir, YOU ARE DOMINO’S. Blaming other people you work with, when you are the manager, is poor attitude and solves nothing. When you say, “we did nothing wrong” after screwing up on multiple occasions, and blame other people at the company (he said that is the tech team’s fault) instead of solving problems, that is both rude and weak. I don’t care whose fault it is. I care about being told the truth and receiving decent service.

I was told that I escalated via the proper channel, which was via Domino’s corporate, but then also told if I had an issue to call the store. The whole issue the first time was that I received wrong information from the store. There’s no reason to call them when I’m already there and they haven’t even begun making the pizza.

I was also told that this was the first time the franchisee had heard of the problem, which means that he is clearly not training staff properly, because I already raised it with them directly in person.

Second time I have had a bad experience with this location!!! Won’t make that mistake again!!!! The Parmesans bites where had so much oil placed on them it seeped through to the box beneath it which was brownies!!! So I have some garlic brownies, oiled up garlic bites, and some burnt pizza!!! $26 dollars down the drain let’s not forget they forgot the dipping sauces “which they always do”. I was not even going to attempt to call management as my last visit the “owner” texted me demanding pictures of my order to ensure it indeed have hair!! He was rude and very unprofessional to say the least. I never got a replacement on that order so wasn’t going to attempt to waste my time on this one. Just chalked it up as another loss and lesson learned. If you find yourself reading this buyer beware double cross your fingers if you do choose to order from this location, if you scroll down there are plenty of others who had the same or even worse experience. I think dominos needs to interview their franchises to weed out the money hungry ones with low product standards.

We live near the Oakton Domino’s and tried it for the first time last month. The delivery service has been excellent and the pizza is always loaded and hot. I have also tried the salads and pasta and they were great too.

I don’t recommend delivery from here. After a 4.99 delivery fee and a 15% tip, this is what it looked like when it arrived. I had to go there anyway because they don’t pick up the phone when it is busy. Best to just order carry out and pick up yourself . Save the money and the aggravation.

Outstanding Customer Service! Every time I have ordered from this store, whether for a family order or an event, the customer service has been outstanding. Most recently, I needed to order a lot of pizzas for my son’s Eagle Scout project. I ordered very quickly online, and didn’t look for coupons or sales because I was rushing and just needed the pizza. When I came to pick up the order, the associate there told me he would apply a better deal to my order. He didn’t have to do that, and I would never have complained about the cost, but he took the time and the care to give me the best deal possible. The pizza was hot and ready when I got there. I highly recommend this location!

There was a weird texture with the chicken wings. However the pizza was great.

This is supposed to be a quadruple pepperoni; I paid for four (4) toppings worth of pepperoni. Really? That said, the dough and crust was decent for a franchise type place like this.
