first things first, the service.. wow.
i’ve never been to a restaurant with such great/friendly service!
ordered chicken chow mein, steamed bbq pork buns, xiao long bao, shiu mai, walnut shrimp, thai tea and wonton soup — good size portions for a reasonable price
everything was so good! highly recommend! my new favorite spot and will definitely be back!

What can I say in words? Just go try the Wontons in Red Chilly Oil, Pan-Fried Chive Dumplings, and Pan-Fried Soup Bao. I kept eating it until it was gone! Simple and delicate yet bursting with robust flavors! Feeling stuffed but why stop now. Enjoy the Vegetable Pan-Fried noodles. So delicious! Nothing here is visually stunning, including the atmosphere of this place, but the food is quite exquisite!

This is my favorite restaurant in the local area. The food is truly a rare gem. The flavors and quality are definitely a cut above the rest. I hope they never change a thing because we just moved here in November and have eaten here many times since finding it hahaha I crave it daily. The crab rangoons have crab in them not just cream cheese and I love how they don’t over bread the orange chicken and it is perfectly sauced. I usually get the fried rice and my husband gets the chow mein both are fire.

Great food, reasonable prices. Soup dumplings were good. Chicken green beans were good. Steamed salted egg buns were excellent too! Area is pretty sketchy and tbh didn’t feel too safe walking to my car (lots of loitering people at their cars), but food was good.

I’ve been on the hunt for tasty Chinese food that’s reasonably priced in Natomas/North Sac for a while, so I was happy when a sudden craving for dim sum and a quick Google search led to me to Yi Long.

I’ve had the pleasure of eating their food in both a dine-in and take out capacity, and it has been on point every time. Their service is also amazing. The staff are super friendly and very attentive.

A word of advice: if you bring friends with you to eat there, order extra so that there’s enough for everyone to take home.

Also, I highly recommend the beef chow fun. It’s one of the best I’ve had in Sac.

8/2024 owner changed, some items changed. Good service. Xiao long bao, xiu mai, ha cao, pan fried noodles, chili oil wontons were good, recommended. Salt n pepper porkchop was decent, a bit salty, the pan-fried soup dumplings were disappointed. I miss the previous version. sweet sesame balls and tarts are good. The house made chili oils were good. Recommended overall.

1/2024 Decent restaurant, friendly service. The signature pork xiaolongbao and shanghai wonton soup were decent. The signature pan-fried soup dumplings were excellent. Highly recommended. The spicy sezhuang beef noodle soup and ChongQing spicy chicken were delicious as well. Recommended. Note that the deep fried chicken was bone-in. The shrimps on the shrimp& pork xiaolongbao were too hard. Probably due to overcooked.

Ordered the chicken chow mein, shrimp fried rice, and the spicy wonton. Flavorful Rice, Chow mein was good, noodles felt mushy but tasted great along with the chicken. The spicy wonton my wife liked. We didn’t get dumplings which is what this place is known for but that’s for next time.

We came in around 11am for a quick brunch on a Sunday and were seated right away. The place was quite empty, but it’s kind of tucked away in the far inner corner of the plaza, (plus it’s new!) so understandable. The menu has more dishes than at 88 Bao Bao and is comparable to Yue Huang on Truxel. The dumplings were as good as any other place. If you just want some dumplings and don’t want to fight with the ridiculously long lines as Yua Huang, I’d recommend this place as an alternative.

Food was good, but minus one star for food wait time. It was just 3 occupied tables and we only ordered 3 items to try, but they took a long time to bring out each item instead of bringing out most of the items at the same time. We finished each dish fairly quickly and found ourselves just waiting for the next one to come. The other tables were waiting for their dishes as well. Hopefully, when business picks up, they will get more efficient at bringing out food.

Me and my family went to go eat after visiting the library, it was nice and quiet at inside, Didn’t seem too popular and busy It as a quiet, preoccupied person myself, I appreciate the peaceful atmosphere. The people were nice and friendly, coming in to check and asking if we wanted to refill our water, such sweet ladies . The food was so delicious, we only got the chicken chow mein and some dumplings. Would come again if I lived nearby enough.
