We went to HomeGrown today and overall had a good experience. The service was really great — our server was very kind and attentive, which always makes a difference. The wait, however, was a bit rough, so that’s something to be prepared for.

We had four people in our group. Two ordered the baked oatmeal, along with a red velvet pancake and a traditional eggs Benedict. We also ordered the brown sugar Pop-Tart.

Let’s be honest — we came for the Pop-Tart. And it was good. I’d definitely order it again, but it was a little overcooked this time. Next time I’d love to see it a bit softer in the middle.

The baked oatmeal had good flavor, but we felt it could’ve been more moist. It might really benefit from a sauce or a bit more cinnamon glaze to take it to the next level.

The red velvet pancake didn’t really taste like red velvet — it mostly felt like eating red food coloring without much payoff. Next time, we’d probably stick to a regular pancake or chocolate chip instead.

The eggs Benedict was absolutely delicious. The English muffin could’ve been cooked slightly less since it was a bit tough, but the rosemary potatoes? They absolutely slapped. Easily 10/10 — those alone are worth coming back for.

Overall, solid food, excellent service, and a few tweaks could make this place even better.

1st time visitor.
The good…my food was amazing, coffee was delicious, prices were fair. Server was friendly and efficient. Will return.
The not so good…my wife had eggs Benedict. One egg was not poached correctly, the hollandais was to runny and overall bland…
Long wait….somewhat loud..

My 1st time at this establishment. I would like to give 5 stars but I can’t. The very first thing I noticed before I even sat down was a dirty glass. Crazy that the person getting ready to pour the water in it didn’t see it.
I ordered the Let’s make a Toast, which includes French toast. I asked about the seasonal option THINKING it would still be French toast but the waitress offered a totally different menu item. Although good, I wasn’t impressed because I wanted French toast but what I received was essentially a slice of pumpkin bread. Felt like I was eating dessert and not breakfast. Also, I didn’t receive my coffee until I was halfway finished with my meal. The waitress admitted that she forgot.
This was not enough to deter me from visiting. I’ll be back. Great atmosphere with friendly staff.

Loved our visit to HomeGrown. We ordered the traditional Benedict, half salad, tomato soup, salsa verde with shredded pork, and pancakes—everything was fresh and delicious. There was a short wait but no issue at all. Our server was great and very attentive, and the pricing was very reasonable.

From start to finish, just a beyond subpar experience. We checked in and then sat and watched as people came in after us, that were not on the waitlist ahead of time, be sat before us. One adult and two children should’ve been able to get in quickly but we waited 45 minutes. Our server, Taylor was fantastic. Cannot say enough good things about her service and kindness. I can however, attest that the people food running had horrible manners and were extremely rude. Another server bumped into my daughter and almost knocked her over, and not a single word was said. No apology, no excuse me, nothing. We had one kids meal which was a good portion size. A BYOB, which was pretty thin for a $14 meal.I had the turkey avocado sandwich. I wrongly assumed it would be a cold turkey sandwich but instead it was cooked, lukewarm turkey with coleslaw and avocado. The texture was extremely weird and definitely thought it would be more of a deli sandwich. The Bloody Mary was a 4/10. Hardly any salt rim, the celery I received was brown on one end. Had a bit of spice so that was nice. Overall, definitely an overpriced experience especially with how rude some of the staff members truly were.

Oh and it was absolutely freezing inside and the bathroom was a frozen tundra.

Summary: cute brunch place that remind me of First Watch with a more modern feel

Food: got the Jon’s Denver omelette and it was alright. The potatoes and biscuits included were yummy but the omelette didn’t really have a taste. Had to eat it with hot sauce and ketchup for there to be flavor, so wouldn’t recommend it.

Menu: the prices were decent but I wish the menu was changed a little bit so it’s a lot more clear about what’s what. The font and size are all basically the same so it’s hard to easily differentiate between different types of dishes right away.

Service: our server was friendly and prompt with our orders. She even was flexible when our friends showed up late. And even though the place was packed, we got a table within a reasonable wait time.

Atmosphere: really cute but simple decor that helped with the casual and fun vibes. The furniture and natural lighting really helps brighten the mood.

We had a lovely experience. Just opened I believe. I got the Blueberry French Toast. The bacon wasn’t quite done but still pretty good. I also added the Rosemary potatoes and a muffin. They forgot the muffin but the potatoes were very good. My daughter loved her pancake. The biscuits and gravy were decent. The gravy was ok. My wife loved her omelet. The manager gave us a couple of there homemade pop tarts for forgetting the muffin. I had a bit of the key lime one. It was yummy. Definitely recommend
