We came here for Sunday brunch at noon. Although we had a reservation, the restaurant wasn’t very busy. We were greeted promptly by the hostess, and the atmosphere was modern and nicely updated.

Our waiter was attentive, and the rest of the staff also made sure we were well taken care of. The food arrived fairly quickly, and while the quality was good, nothing really stood out as exceptional in terms of flavor. Portion sizes were generally ok.

Prices, however, felt higher than expected for both the setting and the dishes we ordered. The crab Benedict, for example, had a very small crab cake—essentially one patty split between two eggs. The tuna was cooked properly and had good flavor, and the teriyaki salmon was also quite good.

We ordered a few drinks, which were just okay. Like many places, they add a surcharge for non-cash payments, but they also suggest tips based on the total after tax and fees, which feels a bit out of place for a restaurant aiming for an upscale experience.

Overall, the food was good and service attentive, but the value didn’t quite match the high prices.

I have been dining at Chef Peter Botros restaurants for years! Blue Pearl was absolutely exquisite. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful, the staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the food was spectacular! Our waiter was Manny and he really provided such a lovely service! We started out with the oysters and shrimp cocktail, the octopus, and the New England chilled lobster rolls. Our entrees were the Angry Ramen and crab Cavatelli. Everything was perfection and we had a great time!!

To say blue pearl is amazing is an absolute understatement! My husband & I just had our wedding there & we couldn’t have chosen a better venue. From the ambience, to the view of the city, to the drinks, the food & the service and staff, we were absolutely BLOWN AWAY!!! Everything was pure perfection. The drinks were delicious and the food was just outstanding. We were beyond impressed by the service and staff, especially Alex who took care of us all night!! And a big thank you to Nastacha who helped plan this event and helped make it so wonderful! She was so easy to get in touch with and just an absolute pleasure to work with!! We truly can’t thank Blue Pearl enough for making our wedding so special. Our family and friends cannot stop raving about it and neither can we! Thank you blue pearl!!!

Blue Pearl is a gorgeous restaurant; that is perhaps where the pleasantries end. I was tremendously disappointed with the food; raw bar items were good, apps, mains, and dessert, were incredibly bland and completely devoid of taste. Service was neither good nor commensurate to the price-point. Check this place out, hopefully you will have a better experience than I did.

Glad to know that my favorite area in Staten Island got the perfect seafood restaurant.
The service we received was outstanding, beyond professional and welcoming, and cozy at the same time.
I, personally was happy to discover the availability of Kumamoto oysters. Which I always struggle to find even in the City.
All over, we had amazing experiences and truly tasty and fresh dining.
Every dish has a harmony of notes and smells.
Everything was freshly cooked and tasted great.
The price is fully understandable and reasonable.
So, if you have a special celebration or are just up for a delicious food experience – that’s the place!

My wife and I came here for Valentine’s Day, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was romantic and beautifully set up for the occasion. The vibe was perfect — warm, cozy, and welcoming.

The interior is absolutely stunning and created such a special setting for our evening. The food was amazing — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The desserts were incredible, and the drinks were just as impressive. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and high quality.

It was the perfect place to celebrate Valentine’s Day, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable night out!

Best thing was the crispy shrimp taste like walnut shrimp w/o walnuts, we came for the oysters which was nice and enjoyed. Place had so many gnats it was very annoying the whole time. We sat by the window maybe thats why, but the window corners were dirty.

Very nice decors and grand bathroom, service was nice and attentive for such a huge dining room. Liquor was ok, we had a lot of menus to look at, and it was all very nicely printed. Brunch item brioche was off tasting and the waiter was kind to take it off our bill. We also had skirt steak and the marination made it taste like char siu very interesting but they didnt cook the temperature right we did ask for medium, it came medium well for sure.
I liked the blue potato it was charred and fun color.

Lobster roll was nice and buttery, i like bisque so i enjoyed it extra. Truffle lobster roll was nicely enjoyed by my group as well.

Good mini croissant and chili-chocolate was a good try. Berry jam was delicious.

My husband wanted to make Valentines special and had been dying to bring me to Blue Pearl. We had reservations for 7:00pm. We arrived at 6:55pm and were immediately seated. It took about half an hour for the waitress to come to our table and take our food order. The manager had to come by and take our drink order since it took the waitress so long to come by initially. We received our appetizers within a reasonable amount of time, but waited extremely long for our entrees, which were brought to our table at 9:00pm. When we complained about the long wait before receiving our entrees, the only thing that was offered to us was a free round of drinks, which I did not enjoy (sangria is way too sweet, it’s like drinking a Capri Sun). Something else should have been offered after such a long wait. We finished our entrees within 15 minutes, and then it took about another 25-30 minutes after for us to receive our desserts. I truly believe our order was not put in on time to the kitchen, especially since all other guests around us that arrived after us were receiving their orders before us, and completed their meals and left the restaurant before us.
Although the food tasted good at the moment, the service is poor, and I would not return to this restaurant, or recommend it at all. To top it off, it was extremely cold during the 3 hour visit at this restaurant, and I ended up with food poisoning from the food here. For the amount of money we paid ($400 +) for two people, the service should be immaculate, and let me just say, it fell very short.

I had my 40th birthday here due to the exceptional service and amazing food selection in prior visits. My experience was top notch! Natascha the event planner was amazing from start to finish. Very accommodating and pleasant which made the whole experience smooth sailing.

The food presentation was impeccable. The lobster rolls, penne vodka, and lamb chops my guests are still raving about. The drinks were on point and one of the best old fashioned I’ve had amongst dining in upscale restaurants throughout nyc. I can’t begin to thank the servers, maitre d, and bartender matt enough for being attentive and flawless with their service.

Thank you for making such an important milestone a memorable one. I will be dining in the future and recommending family/friends to dine here .

Everything was absolutely stunning at The Blue Pearl. The manager, John, and our server, Jose were both very excellent and made celebrating our anniversary dinner something we won’t forget soon. The owner and chef, Peter, even stopped by our table a few times to check in and discuss some of the dishes we had for the night. Atmosphere is very upscale and had high attention to detail. Drinks were excellent, and the food was great; definitely pushing the boundaries for many other places on Staten Island.
