So I was driving through on I-70 and I needed a place to stop for some food. Found this place and decided to stop in. I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak and some fried mushrooms. Everything was made fresh and to order. The Philly was a little greasy but it was really flavorful and perfectly cooked. I stopped in toward the end of the day so it appeared to be pretty slow, so the service I received was fast and friendly.

I read about this restaurant in the Only in Kansas newsletter, and tried it on my way home from Denver. Well worth the stop, and the Grand Slam pizza did not disappoint. Several homemade pies were available. The coconut cream meringue was my choice. The pastry crust was among the best I have had.

Hubby says we’ll give this one more try. We’ll order a burger next time. I went with one of their specials which was a Fish Taco. Bad choice. It was served in a flour tortilla which had to come straight out of the package, not warm whatsoever. It was stuffed with very wet and sloppy slaw which I had to scrape out of the taco to find the fish. The fish turned out to be what seemed like ONE piece of fish STICK, cut into pieces, wedged into the bottom.
I ordered fries as a side. I did have a bite of my friends cheese pizza and I will say that it was tasty. The dining experience was accompanied by a waitress who had no personality and seemed to forget we were there and never once came back to check on us. Many tables were dirty from previous customers the entire time we were there. Granted I will be nice and say she was the only one I saw working the dinning room, so perhaps this was due to a shortage of workers and that should reflect on the owner/manager. Hoping the place can make hamburgers good for our next visit, as their name reflects that’s the kind of food they will be known for. The only reason we’re giving them a 2nd chance is because they’re a small town establishment and should be given a chance.

no I didn’t like it I ordered a pizza and they took it to me 1 hour later and the dough wasn’t well cooked .. apart from that I had to clean the table myself where I sat with my family .. I don’t recommend it

5 stars!! Definitely! We were traveling through on our way to Colorado and this place was a little gem in the middle of no where! We were looking to stop for lunch for a better place than usual fast food and were blown away! Amazing options for pizza, sandwiches, and even the kiddos! the staff were amazing and I had the Reuben pizza!! Sounds had but it was one of my favorite pizzas I have ever had! the kids had the taco pizza and just got a kick out of that combo. I will definitely go out of my way to go here again! Service was good and the people were kind! A great place to eat!

This place was so much better than I had expected. We had the Grand Slam pizza and it was AMAZING! The crust was crisp on the bottom (just the way I like it) and the toppings were hefty with a wonderfully even spread of toppings and cheeses. The service was prompt and very kind.
I loved that each table had a little pouch with discussion topics. That was a very nice touch that my boyfriend and I continued discussing in the car as we traveled home.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND – GREAT TATSE AND SERVICE.
We stopped by on our return from Yellowstone to Oklahoma and were looking for something better than regular (unhealthy) fast food options. We had – Chicken burger, Chicken Wrap, Corn Nuggets, Chicken strips. Everything was very good and flavorful. We noted the lady (chef) in the kitchen was very focused and dedicated to serving the customer. The front desk young girl was equally courteous, had charming smile and indicated her passion for the restaurant.
We are glad made the stop. My kids and wife enjoyed the food.

Food was absolutely delicious, and the server was sweet, super busy but got everything right and gave us fries because the chips had run out… He was a top notch server knew exactly what everyone needed.. if you’re passing through I highly recommend you eat here!!
