Cute lil walk up Jamaican restaurant. Whole vibe. The server was pleasant & kind. Great portion sizes. Wish there were more seafood/vegitarian/vegan options. The steamed snapper was delicious. OKRA & veggies were BUSSIN. I will be back

The food here is pretty good, a lot of different options and it never disappoints. Pricing could be adjusted, but the customer service is also good! A girl named Tishann really made sure i was satisfied! i would recommend going here!

Went here with my wife on one of those days you just don’t feel like cooking. I ordered the jerk chicken while my wife ordered one each of the chicken and beef meat patty. The chicken was absolutely perfect, with just the right amount of spices for me and came with rice and beans. There was SO MUCH food that there was no way it could be finished in one night, and the price was extremely affordable. My wife enjoyed her meat patties and loved the curry seasoning in one and the mild flavor of the other. The two women who waited upon us were such wonderful people. Their smiles were natural and infectious. I am super anxious to get back there and try the ox-tail or the goat curry, but I’m not sure about one of their other menu items, the goat head soup, lol!

Located in a plaza along Powerline Rd., Fern Gully Grill offers the typical Jamaican cuisine at reasonable prices such as:

* Chicken – curry, brown stew, bbq, fried
* Jerk – chicken & pork
* Oxtail & curry goat
* Fish – brown stew & fried
* Sides & soups
* Vegetarian dishes
* Breakfast – ackee, callaloo, saltfish, porridge
* Cold beverages & natural juices

The restaurant was clean with adequate table seating for customers, and had a colorful decor. I greeted two females that were behind the counter and after overlooking the menu displayed on the wall, I decided to order a medium brown stew chicken which was served with my choice of rice & peas and steamed cabbeage. Within five minutes, one of the females placed the food in a container, graciously added sauce over the rice, and hamded it to the other female who took my payment. Now when I’m having Caribbean food I love to have some fried plantains on the side. I found it odd that it wasn’t served with the food…this was a first. They sold 3pcs of fried plantains for $1 so I asked for that.

Here’s my impression of the food as I got home:

* Brown stew chicken – was tender and browned in a flavorful sauce
* Rice & peas – nicely cooked to a soft consistency. The sauce from the chicken made it taste so much better
* Steamed cabbage – had a bit of a crunch to it and was lightly seasoned
* Fried plantains – fried nicely and was sweet…just how I like ’em

Thoroughly enjoyed the food. I must come back to try other dishes that I usually does order at Jamaican restaurants

Delicious food and very friendly employees. I just happened to come across this place and I’m glad I did.I got the dark meat jerk and fried chicken and it was mouthwatering good. I’m also a big fan of the cabbage, cooked and seasoned perfectly.

Delicious food, it’s a hit or miss when it comes to customer service , young lady with the braids got a rude nasty attitude. Unfortunately I will never come back. Do better or lose business & customers. I will never tolerate disrespect RUDE , RUDE , RUDE . GROW UP . Low key discrimination.

Delightful, simple Jamaican/Caribbean restaurant. The curry chicken with rice and peas was delicious. The portions very generous. A great option for a hearty meal at a spectacular price.

This restaurant is small but the seating is quite comfortable. I came in sick looking for chicken soup and let me tell you I found thee best chicken soup of all time!!! Not too salty packed with chicken (it was chicken foot soup with chunks of chicken in it also) devetthing from the meat to the dumplings and the vegetables were cooked perfect! It was so good and soothing for this soar throat of mine! The lady behind the counter was so nice and polite and inviting.
