They used to be better. I stopped going because the guys working there weren’t making the smoothies right. Today I sent my kids to get some, and it seems like when they tried to fix the mistake, they rinsed it to remove the extra they had added. Now our smoothies are watered down. This is the most I could eat. Just last year they were good, and we used to go regularly.
I hope you take this as constructive criticism and improve, because I really used to like it a lot. I always try to send my clients there, and whenever they ask me about ice cream, I always recommend that place.

Visited today and had an amazing, warm, freshly made waffle cone with cookies and cream. My husband had peanut butter custard in a waffle cone, and both of my kids had kids menu items. The atmosphere is great for families with smaller kids, lots of flavors and menu options. They also had some massive cinnamon rolls, cookies and specialty varieties of glass bottles sodas. Both staff members were polite and helpful, it was obvious they were accustomed to dealing with “out of towners.” If we visit Cashiers again, we will definitely come back!

Eat Custard Cream. Be Happy…Crossroads Custards & Cold Brew is the place to go.
The quality of their custards, coffee, and teas are incredible topped with the best customer service. This place will become your new favorite spot.
They have a near endless option of flavors. If you like a slushy make sure you try a flavored custard mixed with the slushy. It is so refreshing and tasty.
Make sure you also try their homemade waffle cones. I’m not sure what their secret is, but it is the tastiest waffle cone I’ve ever had.
You can even get your pup a custard treat and they are also giving your dog a ball to take home.
As for parking their is an ample amount of spaces.

This is a great place! They have a wide variety of custard options and toppings. The mixed berry tarts and scones were delicious! The service was friendly and personable.

My husband and I have been loyal customers of Crossroads Custard & Cold Brew, and we stopped in recently specifically to support the business during what we understand is a slower time of year. We accepted that the seasonal offerings would be limited and that the only option available was custard.
Unfortunately, our recent visit resulted in an unpleasant experience. We were not informed at the time of purchase that the custard was prepared using a sugar-free product, specifically a sugar alcohol. Both of us experienced significant stomach issues and diarrhea that lasted for nearly 24 hours after eating it. While we appreciate the business, we feel strongly that customers should be explicitly informed when a product is sugar-free or contains sugar alcohols, as these ingredients can have significant digestive effects for many people. This lack of transparency is a deceptive business practice. We are locals and will not be returning or recommending this business.

Mixed thoughts overall. The staff were friendly and place seemed interesting, but I really don’t feel the product was equal to the price of my brownie sundae. I ordered the brownie sundae with the custard swirl. I’d say the sundae was 2/3 brownie and 1/3 ice cream which just seemed lacking. I think my biggest area of issue though is the fact that my $9 sundae came in a flimsy Dixie brand paper bowl from the grocery store which are notorious for not holding up to heavy items. If I hadn’t had plenty of experience with these and tried to pick it up by the rim, there would have been a big mess to clean up. Additionally, I’m not sure if it’s the length of time it took my payment to go through as they were having issues with the card reader when I payed, but by the time I sat down the custard was very melted.
Overall I’d say the price and the service were on par with the area (expensive but friendly) but the product was not. I round up with my reviews but truly I feel it was a 3.5 out of 5, not 4 out of 5.

A cute and fun experience for customized custards and more! A must-do for your first time or any visit to Cashiers. The staff is so helpful and kind and everything we had was absolutely delicious. Plus the homemade waffle cones served WARM are major plus. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone in the area!

One of the best spots around—hands down! They have choices for DAYS and something for everyone, whether you’re a classic cone kind of person or looking for something a little different.
I usually go for an affogato (which they do so well!), but this time I tried the banana split and it was seriously delicious. Generous portions, fun flavors, and the kid’s menu is just right—great sizes and tons of options. We come to cashiers a few times a year and we talk about Crossroads all year. The whole place is super family-friendly, and the service is always top-notch. Can’t say enough good things about this place—we love it here!

This place is GREAT! We were thrown off that ita soft serve. But they add flavoring to it, and then re-push it through some little thing to make it swirl.
Cotton candy, cake batter, butter pecan, and a brownie sundae with butter pecan. It was great!!
Highly recommend!

After more than 10,000 miles traveled and many ice creams tasted, Crossroads’ Frozen Custard has ruined me – I may never be able to eat other ice creams again, because they are ALL inferior!! Sweet Custard, I’ll be dreaming only of you…
