I heard so many good things about this place. I was sad to be disappointed. I ordered a chef salad, which according to the menu displayed, costs $7.99. Imagine my surprise when the cash price was $10.80. That’s a 35% increase. I was told that the menu online reflects the new prices, but the owner hasn’t managed to fix the in-person menu yet. Charging more than the displayed price is illegal.
I was assured that I would like the salad. The salad was delicious, but was the size of a side salad, not a main meal. I will not be going back here.

We went here because they have a great health inspection-code rating. We thought it must be good and we like tres leches cake. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any tres leches cake available, but they had tiramisu. It was delicious. We sat at the small counter. A great, little local place.

First visit today and I am thrilled with the experience.
As soon as I walked in I knew the owner(s) cared about this establishment. Everything was spotless! The various posted offerings were easy to understand and clearly marked. The daily special was behind a glass case and everything looked yummy and delicious. I ordered two of the daily special, which was Chipotle Chicken with a side if yellow rice, black beans and plantains. Yum! Because I the experience was so thrilling I also got a Tres Leches dessert. Yum, again! The Tres Leches was just perfect, not overly sweet or soggy and the fruit was nice and crisp.
Go there and enjoy eating their food again and again.

Today, Aug. 6, 2020 I had the Apple Caramel Bread Pudding. WOW!!!!
That was the best Bread Pudding I’ve ever had! Amazing food, wonderful people, and very clean establishment. I’ve been having lunch there twice a week and every meal is better than the previous one. Good job!!
Message to the owner(s). Find a much larger place, move your business there, and you’ll make lots and lots of people happy AND you’ll make lots and lots of money.

Probably the very best deli food you’re going to find in the Walden/Montgomery area. Plus cakes, cookies, and other baked goods, salads, and entrees. Everything they make is fresh, top quality and always perfectly delicious have you tried a Walden bar? You should, and wash it down with a delicious smoothie!

Not sure how to explain the string in my food. But the bacon was terrible. This whole platter was just bad. Never again. I also tried their Philly cheesesteaks and that was extremely disappointing also. They don’t even toast the bread even if you ask!!!! Not sure I trust these reviews
