We recently visited Wei Ramen for the first time, and overall, it was a great experience. We arrived around lunchtime, and although the restaurant was busy, we didn’t have to wait to be seated.
We started with a couple of appetizers—the crispy shrimp and gyoza. The crispy shrimp were perfectly fried, light and crunchy on the outside while still juicy on the inside. The flavor was on point, and we really enjoyed them. The gyoza also didn’t disappoint—crispy on the bottom, tender on top, and packed with flavor.
For the main course, we both had ramen. The broth was rich and flavorful, just what you’d hope for in a comforting bowl of noodles. The ingredients were fresh, and the dish was satisfying without feeling overly heavy.
Overall, the food at Wei Ramen was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared.

I’ve been here many times before since 2023 but I just wanted to say the ramen is always so tasty and yummy! I’m a huge fan of the tempura as well. and recently I tried their curry dish and it was SO GOOD. I was genuinely enjoying myself. 100% recommend coming and trying the curry.

Fun ramen resturant. Great service. Good ramen. Very beautiful. Good vegetable options. With 6 people all tried different bowls. Some broths had much more flavor than others but all were tasty. All very well prepared and the servers were very nice. Everything was beautifully made. The favorites were the chicken tonkatsu and the spicy.

Decent ramen place in the heart of downtown. We had the takoyaki as an appetizer and it was extremely delicious. For our entrees, we had the chicken miso ramen and the pork curry ramen. Both were fresh and plenty flavorful.

The waitress was friendly and attentive. She kept checking in on us and brought us refills without us even asking.

I recommend giving this place a try if you are in the area!

I’ve been eating at this place for years since I work close to downtown. I decided to call in a carry out order. I came in to pick up my order and decided I wanted to change my mind and dine in since I had a little extra time. I wanted to eat my food while I was hot. I was denied the right to dine in even though I had just spent $45 and have been a faithful customer for four years. I was in disbelief that these people made me leave and would not allow me to eat my food inside. I think They believed that because I changed my mind and decided to dine in that I wouldn’t tip them for some reason and I always always make it a point to tip because I used to be a server 20 years ago, I know what it’s like. I don’t know if it was the color of my skin or what but I 100% feel discriminated against. I will never eat here again, and I suggest people of color stay away from here. These people also blocked my calls to keep me from calling back. I’ve never seen a restaurant do such a thing to such a faithful customer.

I used to love this place but the food quality has gone down. I’ve ordered ramen from here several times since finding out about the restaurant in 2022. I ordered a spicy chicken ramen to be delivered to my home as always and I get pork this time. Okay no big deal, I go to the restaurant and tell them hey you messed up my order can i get chicken ramen and they tell me no. That this is the chicken ramen, that they cut the pork differently and since it was ordered through uber i can’t get a refund. I know what chicken and pork tastes like and if that was chicken, which it wasn’t it was rubberish and bad quality. If you order through uber be aware &) also the food quality has dropped significantly.

I wish there was a Wei Ramen in South Bend so I could go there all the time! There weren’t a ton of vegetarian options, but enough that I had a hard time deciding on what to get. I dream about the Curry Veggie Croquette and can’t wait to try it again! The Eggplant Buns was also sooo good. I highly recommend!

Good ramen spot with many options. The decor was warm and well done. Service was good. Nothing stood out to me but the ramen, dumplings and edamame were good either way. Prices were also good.

We have dined at Wei Ramen for years and always had great service but recently had terrible service. We asked the waitress about an item on the menu and she explained the dish but did not mention it came covered in sauce. She submitted a reorder without the sauce and ended up charging us, said the menu mentioned the sauce. Oh well. We won’t be going back especially after learning about multiple health department rodent violations, this year alone.
