Crooner’s is located in Historic Downtown Fort Scott, Kansas. The menu offers something for everyone from gourmet salads to fresh seafood and everything in between. Crooner’s doors in October of 2012 & expanded in the Summer of 2016 introducing the Lounge. In January 2020, Crooner’s incorporated contemporary updates including a fireplace, furnishings and paint palette.

We were thoroughly impressed with the service and food! The flavors were incredible and menu options were very unique and wonderful.
My husband got Mahi Mahi with twice baked mashed potatoes and veggies. I got the seafood ravioli, we got a crab cake for an appetizer.
Meals came with a fresh salad. Even the bread they brought out right away after we were seated was wonderful.
The prices were very affordable for this upscale restaurant and I even loved the ambiance. We will surely return when we visit Fort Scott again.

Made reservations to celebrate my mom’s birthday. So happy we did! Absolute excellent service and phenomenal food! I can’t say enough good things about our entire experience. We all ordered the beef tips with mashed potatoes and a salad. The portions are large and prices reasonable. Can’t wait to go back!

We recently took my mom to this restaurant for Christmas dinner because it was the place she specifically requested. We had reservations for 5 PM, but we didn’t leave until nearly 7 PM.
The main issue was the extremely slow service: we waited over an hour for our entrees to arrive. We ordered beef tips and requested them well-done, but they came out practically raw. We sent them back, and after another 30-minute wait, the waitress returned them—still completely pink in the middle, with virtually no improvement. At that point, we gave up and asked for boxes to take the food home so we could finish cooking it ourselves.
The only bright spot was dessert, which was delicious—the berry tart and raspberry cheesecake were both excellent. Our waitress was friendly, but she didn’t check on us often enough, and we eventually had to track down someone else in order to pay our ticket.
To be fair, the restaurant was very busy, but we still spent about $120 on a dinner that we largely couldn’t eat at the table. It made me especially sad because our first experience there had been really wonderful.

We enjoyed this place so much, we went back a second time during our stay in Ft Scott. The food was outstanding (oysters appetizer, lasagna, and steak tips). Everything is fresh and tastes home made. Even the house salad is extra generous and fresh (not your average small stack of lettuce with one tomato). We sat in the bar and enjoyed getting to know the staff and locals. This is a restaurant you need to visit when in Ft Scott.

We were there this past weekend for the Christmas celebration. This was our first time there and we had an amazing time. Rob was awesome and a great server. We felt right at home. The food was so good. We had drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert. All were amazing. We would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in or nearby Fort Scott.

Wow! Such an incredible dinner. Service was amazing. I would seriously recommend their cocktails – blueberry smash and lemon droop were unmatched. Crab cakes make an excellent choice for an appetizer. Their Parmesan chicken was just perfect. It really doesn’t get any better!

This is a very cute place, repurposed from an old movie theater. They have friendly servers, quick assistance, drinks with general use of alcohol, and the food is so good too!! This is a great place for a date and my boyfriend and I had a good time here! The picture is seafood ravioli that I ordered, and it’s cheesy and creamy.

Crooner’s Lounge – This is a MAGNIFICENT restaurant in charming and historic downtown Fort Scott!!! My INCREDIBLY beautiful wife and I eat here regularly. Every dinner has been EXCELLENT. From steaks, seafood, pasta and more – it’s always DELICIOUS. The desserts (cakes) by Rob are almost SINFULLY good. The staff is always COURTIOUS and ATTENTIVE. It’s a go-to Fort Scott FAVORITE! Try it for yourself (call for reservations, they do book fast). You can thank me later.
