The service was awful from the moment I arrived. There was a waitress named Cheyana (or something close to that), a heavier-set blonde woman who would randomly sing instead of focusing on customers. She was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional in how she spoke to people and handled service.
The bartender also wasn’t nice at all and acted irritated when I asked for a drink, which made the experience even worse. It felt like customers were an inconvenience rather than the reason they’re open.
The atmosphere was uncomfortable. There were a lot of weird people hanging around who kept hitting on me, and staff did nothing to intervene or make the environment feel safe or welcoming.
The place itself was dirty and poorly maintained. Floors and surfaces were visibly unclean, and overall hygiene seemed lacking. I’m honestly surprised this bar is still functioning.
Bad service, rude staff, uncomfortable environment, and poor cleanliness. Definitely never going back.
First, this was a large event, and was expected to be a large event. I’m not sure if it was because of scheduling conflicts or what, but there was one bartender for the few couple hours of the event, making it take well over 25-30 minutes to get anything from the bar.
Second, the venue was clearly not ready for a large event. Seating was a huge problem, and caused many hostilities over the course of the event. Which lead to the third issue below.
Third, there was an altercation right in front of us where a larger younger man stole an old couples chairs. The older man confronted the younger man and he shoved the older man hard and it was lucky he wasn’t seriously hurt. The older man went to call the police, but seemed like he changed his mind and decided to instead reach out to someone in charge of the venue. He explained the situation to someone who at least seemed in charge of something, and the man went over to the younger man and simply cracked jokes with him. After the old couple realized that nothing would be done about the rather serious assault, they left. After this it seemed like the younger man clearly knew the people in charge, and his dangerous behavior would go without consequences. We also decided to leave and realized this place is not safe nor a place we wanted to even try to enjoy.
