Great Vibe. Jay on the piano is very entertaining and keeps the crowd engaged. He’s also funny. He’s got Kyle Ivy and Bruce Lismon on the instruments so you know they are rockin’ the house! The atmosphere is spacious and the lighting is perfect. Great venue…Very good live performances. Highly recommended!

I love this place!! There’s not much to do around here unless you want to end up somewhere gross with sticky floors, but this hole-in-the-wall place is classy and clean and everyone is SOOO nice! I was there tonight and they had a DJ, which was something I wasn’t used to at this place but I was pleasantly surprised. He was so good! It’s a great place to go. You can sit and relax, play cards, have a drink OR you can get up and dance! I wish there was a better way to get the word out about this place because it deserves so much more hype than it gets.

Terrible place, never going back.
The service was awful from the moment I arrived. There was a waitress named Cheyana (or something close to that), a heavier-set blonde woman who would randomly sing instead of focusing on customers. She was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional in how she spoke to people and handled service.
The bartender also wasn’t nice at all and acted irritated when I asked for a drink, which made the experience even worse. It felt like customers were an inconvenience rather than the reason they’re open.
The atmosphere was uncomfortable. There were a lot of weird people hanging around who kept hitting on me, and staff did nothing to intervene or make the environment feel safe or welcoming.
The place itself was dirty and poorly maintained. Floors and surfaces were visibly unclean, and overall hygiene seemed lacking. I’m honestly surprised this bar is still functioning.
Bad service, rude staff, uncomfortable environment, and poor cleanliness. Definitely never going back.

I really hate to give a local place a bad review, but it has to be done. We visited here for the Common Market Fundraiser, and while we had a good time, it had nothing to do with the venue.

First, this was a large event, and was expected to be a large event. I’m not sure if it was because of scheduling conflicts or what, but there was one bartender for the few couple hours of the event, making it take well over 25-30 minutes to get anything from the bar.

Second, the venue was clearly not ready for a large event. Seating was a huge problem, and caused many hostilities over the course of the event. Which lead to the third issue below.

Third, there was an altercation right in front of us where a larger younger man stole an old couples chairs. The older man confronted the younger man and he shoved the older man hard and it was lucky he wasn’t seriously hurt. The older man went to call the police, but seemed like he changed his mind and decided to instead reach out to someone in charge of the venue. He explained the situation to someone who at least seemed in charge of something, and the man went over to the younger man and simply cracked jokes with him. After the old couple realized that nothing would be done about the rather serious assault, they left. After this it seemed like the younger man clearly knew the people in charge, and his dangerous behavior would go without consequences. We also decided to leave and realized this place is not safe nor a place we wanted to even try to enjoy.

Great atmosphere full of talented musicians and friendly people. I’m so excited that this place exists. The owner is super nice and the staff is very accommodating. They ran out of Jameson so the bartender made me some concoction of his own design, which was lovely. I can’t wait to visit again. I did not rate the food as we did not get food.

Muncie needed this one. Former dance hall now low key piano bar. Opening week musicians were great on keys, drums, and vocals. $5 Cover. Plenty of seating. Great atmosphere. White River Plaza needs love, but this place is fun and I hope it makes it. Liquor selection is odd: no bourbon but brandy and Jack Daniels. Bartenders are friendly enough, they need something to work with. Drink prices are slightly high for what they have to offer. Bring cash to tip the musicians. Was a diverse crowd opening week, can’t decide if it’s casual or Muncie formal. Will be curious to see how things go after a few weeks of getting the start-up jitters out. Owner is present and engaged, let’s support this place and give it a chance.
