Oh my gosh! I just bought these tarts from the Royal Fair in Toronto, and they are incredible! I’m literally eating them right now and can’t stop praising them. My daughter normally doesn’t care for tarts at all, but she gave these a big thumbs-up!
I wanted to leave a review and realized how far you traveled to be here. It feels even more special to have met you in Toronto. We spent the whole day chasing animals with the kids and this ended up being our only shopping—maybe it was destiny that your tarts were calling me today!
We bought one Classic (it’s amazing!), two French Toast, Apple Bourbon, S’mores, and Coconut as recommended. Wishing you continued success, and thank you for letting us enjoy such wonderful tarts. I’d love to visit again if I get the chance. Please open a shop in Toronto someday!

A must stop here spot! Butter tarts – who knew there could be such a large variety! These are very well made and for those who are new to butter tarts – they are indeed pretty sweet. The flakey crusts matches so well to the flavour and sweetness of the content. It is also a heavy content to flakey crust ratio, which I appreciate. There is a flavour for everyone or just the regular ones when you just can’t decide. Can’t go wrong with any.

One of my favourite cafes on Queen Street. The tarts delicious, healthy and tasty food, seasonal drinks are great, and cozy atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out if you’re a visitor or live in the Sault.

Nice bakery on Main Street Sault Saint Marie downtown. Simple and cozy decor. As the name says it, they specialize in butter tarts. They also serve other baked goods, like individual sized quiche, which are very good. The homemade pies are fresh and outstanding. They serve coffee and other drinks. There are tables inside the establishment to seat and enjoy your treats. Prices are good. It is a family business, where you find the husband and wife working together with their children helping. Nicest people!!!

We bought three flavors and all the tarts were lovely. The lemon was my favorite.
The tarts are sold individually and you don’t have to purchase six at a time as another reviewer said. We strolled in and bought three.
This is a very cute and tiny shop in Sault Ste. Marie. Cute and tiny like a tart!

My experience today at The Queen’s Tarts was wonderful! I ordered the Dr. Jones espresso blend latte and very much enjoyed it. Calming music, nice atmosphere, decent daytime hours. One of the few downtown cafes open on a Monday. A great way to relax on my birthday and get some work done as well!! (◠‿◕)(✿ ♡‿♡) They even got the heart in the foam! – check photo.

These folks make a great product. The are kind and I had a great experience. They deserve your money. I hope they sell out every day. I had a drip coffee as well, and it was well above my expectations. I am glad I made the trip.

The annual pilgrimage to bow down to the best butter tart bakers in all the realm! After four years of watching the lines at The Queen’s Tarts snake across the road, I joined the lineup to see what all the fuss was about.. simply divine perfection. Equal to and different from DooDoo’s Diane Rogers handmade one at a time masterpieces. Both now become must-have’s! And I guessed what the mystery is of why their line is longest and slowest: they sell singles, no prepacks – everyone’s order is different, they get exactly the assortment of the 25 flavors that they want! Too bad Queen’s is a day away in Sault St. Marie… my newly reduced waistline is safe .. until they move to Toronto!!

I tried the dark chocolate tart! I thought it’d be way too sweet, but it actually turned out to be really yummy and not too sweet at all, except the crust was a bit thick.
