I’ve been twice and I just love that this is a thing. Local food and craft vendors make this a uniquely Burlington place to hang out and pet people’s dogs! Such an awesome atmosphere!

My wife and I visited Burlington earlier this month and were lucky enough to attend two South End Get Down events. What a cool experience! Fun music, awesome vibe, so many delicious food trucks to choose from, and great drinks from the Pinery. I wish we had something like this where we live in California. Definitely hope to be back for another one eventually!

Amazing food, music and lots of family friendly activities – and has a drink pass for adults with multiple spots throughout the event.
Most vendors accept cards/Venmo/cashapp
Definitely bring some cash tho! Especially if you want churros
Also, there’s plenty of parking through out the neighborhood but easily accessible from downtown if you want to walk.
(Do not bring your dog if they are not well socialized)

Amazing food and service! There’s nothing else I would do on a Friday in Burlington. Cocktails are the best

There is no where else I’d rather be on a weekend night in Burlington. A great place to spend quality time with friends. The Get Down has it all, immaculate vibes, good drinks, amazing food, and spectacular views.

What a fun mix of locals and those visiting. Seemed like everyone was at the Get Down! Its free to get in, and so much fun!
Great food, drinks, music. It was super fun to try multiple food trucks and share. There is a water refill station so bring a bottle with you! Its a great way to get a group of friends together and everyone can get what they want!

While some Burlington natives might write Truck Stop off as touristy, overcrowded, and overpriced, it’s still one of my favorite parts of both the south end, and Burlington in the summer. While it’s a little disheartening to see the same trucks from years past add an extra 5, 6, 7 (…or more) dollars to their prices just for this event, it’s still definitely one of places to grab some of the best food the city has to offer. It is touristy and overcrowded, but just go later and you won’t trip over as many kids.

Nice open atmosphere. A DJ kept the vibe upbeat and fun. A hot night tonight and the venue lacks seating out of the sun as it lowers on the horizon. Had *wonderful* pizza at the Myers Bagel location in the building on the right. Tons of eating options. Don’t miss this Friday night happening.

Truck stop is an amazing summer experience. Bring the family and everyone gets to choose what they want for dinner. Good drink selection and amazing food truck food. Will spend most of my Friday nights here!
