Bacon/cheese fries and a double cheeseburger in the middle of Waikiki. Absolutely wonderful!!! Quick service however, sistah behind the counter needs to change her attitude.

RECOMMENDATION – I liked the BBQ burger and fries. My son and wife, thought it wasn’t worth coming back.
(5:30 – Tuesday in May)
(3 adults)

VALUE – $60 – 3.5/5
– BBQ Bacon Burger – 3.5/5 – I liked it.
We ordered two these. My son said he’d give his a 4/5 stars. He said he liked the burger. Didn’t like the onion ring inside, it was too hard he said.
– Avocado swiss – 3/5 – my wife got this. She said it didn’t have flavor.
– Bacon cheese fries – 2/5 – My son got these. Said it tasted good going in, but now he’s feeling pretty bad. lol.
– Fries – 4/5. I liked mine, but the wife and my son didn’t like them much.

PORTION SIZE- 4/5
Portions were large. Approprioate.

SERVICE- 4/5
The young woman had one airpod in an ear and talked really quietly. She was very nice, but moved slowly and seemed like she had a hard time hearing us. If I were her manager, I’d say drop the airpod, speak louder and move quicker. 🙂

ATMOSPHERE – 4/5
It was a fast food place in a food court. As good as that gets, I guess. It was all good. Eating area was clean. Lots of people, but easy to find a place to eat.

Hamburger joint –

In the food court. Casual atmosphere. Great burgers they even have beer which is a plus. Went with the original pineapple and teriyaki. It did not disappoint and the price was just right. The truffle fries are a nice side for extra flavor.

We enjoyed the teriyaki burger served medium done. With the addition of the sauce the burger was soggy after a while, but was still tasty. Ordered onion rings and it was cooked to perfection. Give this establishment a try.

When visiting Hawaii, this is a must try for a burger joint. Their brioche bun is on point as they spread it with their special sauce & grill it. We just tired their double cheeseburger combo. The cashier said they cook their meat to medium rare, but it was more well done. The patties are thin so I would recommend rare. I wish the burger would be more greasy, but overall it was good. The fries are some of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely a must try while in Hawaii. Make sure to make it a combo meal. Worth every dollar u spend. Quick service, too. Rate this 9/10.

Love the inclusivity for those that don’t eat meat, the fish burger is a great option. Number 11 was so good! The teriyaki sauce was a bit bolder than I’m used to. Otherwise, hot fresh food in less than 15 minutes. Definitely enjoyed my lunch from this location! Couldn’t finish it all, huge portions.

Tired after a long day of adventures we decided to eat in… something simple burgers.

We ordered a couple of Loco Moco burgers $9.45… we are in Hawaii the birth place of the Loco Moco.  You are suppose to get a beef patty with a sunny side egg covered with brown gravy.  The patty was juicy…but there was very little or no gravy at all.  I was hoping for a messy get the bib and mop out type burger.  What I got was a 2 napkin burger.  But I would still reorder this burger again.

We also got a Pineapple Burger $10.45  I guess here in Hawaii everything is a Hawaiian burger.  The sweet pineapple and teriyaki sauce went will with the savory juicy beef patty   I really liked this burger over the Loco Moco.  The sandwich has a better balance of flavors.

We also ordered a side of truffle fries $6.75.  This tasted like the same type of fries like the ones garlic fries without the garlic.  If there was any truffle oil in there I cannot taste it.  When I ordered, I requested some ketchup… no ketchup in the bag.

We had a delicious burger and fries at this charming, local chain. Quality meat with fresh and crispy fries were quite the treat. Service was friendly and took time to ensure our order was correct. It took 15 to 20 minutes for us to get our food, but it was all prepared fresh and came out hot. Worth the wait!

Don’t waste your time or money. They have no idea what they are doing here. After waiting 30 minutes for our food we went to the counter and they had been giving out the wrong orders to everyone. We told them we wanted a refund and they would only refund us $18 of the $25.99 we paid. I was fine paying for our drink, because we drank it, but they refused to refund the tip. So they got a roughly $5 tip for giving us a drink and making us wait 30 minutes.

0/10
will never try again.

My husband and I really wanted to enjoy Mahaloha Burger in the Royal Hawaiian Center, but the unpleasant young man taking our order ruined our first time experience.

At first we thought he was being funny, as we are used to sarcastic, playful banter. No, he had this attitude about him that screamed, “I literally want to be anywhere else but here.” Not a good sign for someone who works directly with the public. He needs to do better.

The food was pretty good, we both ordered teriyaki burgers with fries. We were not aware that the burgers came with a mustard sauce. I didn’t mind it so much, but my husband couldn’t finish his.

My husband would have asked the young man what came on the burger in the first place, but again, the young man was so rude and unpleasant, he was too afraid to ask. My husband ended up going to Panda Express shortly after.

In conclusion, the burgers and fries were good, the experience was not. I just hope the rest of the staff at Mahaloha Burger in the Royal Hawaiian Center is friendly and delivers a good first impression.
