Best Tex-mex around. Their Tortilla soup is to die for, and their chips are good. I have eaten here over a dozen times, and each time it is phenomenal.
They also opened up the drive thru which makes it much more convenient to get food quickly. 10/10 would recommend!!
PS thanks for the free coffee

Cons: The queso is reconstituted powdered cheese. The chips are overcooked, too hard, and you can taste the frying oil on them. The guacamole tasted like the bland pre-made kind from the grocery store and was missing flavor like garlic, salt, or both.
Pros: The brisket enchiladas were pretty good. Good rice and beans, simple no frills. The El Charro burrito was humongous, and my partner said it was pretty good. Whatever the cilantro cream side sauce it came with was watery, but tasted okay to me. The margarita was good. The flan was okay, not special but not terrible.
Verdict: there are better Mexican food restaurants in this town that make their foods from scratch.
We likely will not be returning.

The food was good and our server was really nice and welcoming. Service was quick—though to be fair, we were the only ones there at the time. The nachos were huge, while the other dishes were regular-sized. The kids’ meal came with chicken strips that looked a bit like Chicken Express—tasty but a little hard—and fries that reminded us of McDonald’s. Overall, it was a good experience, and we’ll definitely be back to try more items from the menu.

Tortilla soup and birria tacos were pretty good the only thing that was disappointing was the guacamole. Ordered what the menu stated large guac and they brought out 3 small scoops of it and was charged 8.99. I was expecting a small bowl at least. Other than that service was wonderful.

We have been trying many different Mexican food places for weeks, always leaving pretty unimpressed with the food. We decided to order in the drive-thru here and we were not disappointed! The service was so friendly and fun for starters. I had an caramel iced coffee while waiting, (I dont drink iced coffees), but boy was it good! We ordered the Juniors Plate and it was really tasty, the meat was perfect, the green sauce had a nice kick to it, rice was cooked just right and nothing was soggy by the time we got home. In fact even the chips were even tasty. I highly recommend and weve finally found our place. (No photos, I wasnt about to stop eating long enough to take one!).

First time here and the food was really good. We had margaritas and chips & salsa … My husband ordered tacos al carbon, and I had flautas with side order of refried beans. We enjoyed all of our food. Staff was really nice and accommodating. Not to mention, the restaurant looked really clean. I’m going to go back for breakfast.

We stopped in one night an hour before closing time and we were the only ones in there. We used to eat Los Charros alot but not this location. Food was alright. Churros were pretty good.

Honestly since I moved to Texas, this has been the best mexican food ive tasted here. Thankfully I’m a big guy so I was able to eat 2 entrees the tampiqueña and charro burrito were nothing shy of amazing. The horchata couldn’t get enough of it but I also had to leave room for the Spicy Tropical Margarita which was sooooo good! Hands down my GO-TO restaurant from now on. Service was top notch and the hospitality was great. Overall great experience.
