Came here with a couple friends for my birthday. I had heard good things about the place and was excited to go. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and really feels like a high-end spot. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

We ordered aloo tikki chaat to share along with some drinks. I’m not very familiar with Indian food, but this was very good and a perfect size for 3–4 people to share. The drink I had was fine, but my friend’s chai was very nice.

For entrées, I had the chicken biryani, while my friends ordered the butter chicken and daal tadka. We also shared a naan basket with garlic, garlic cheese, and plain naan. Everything was very tasty. The portions looked small at first but were actually a good size — we all had leftovers to take home. The naan was fresh, and the garlic cheese naan in particular was great.

A table next to us had a dessert brought out with sparklers. My friends noticed and quietly told the waiter it was my birthday and asked if we could have the same brought out while i was in the bathroom. He said no problem, and after our meal they brought out a chocolate sona. There were no candles or sparklers, though — it was just dropped off and the waiter walked away, which was a bit confusing. My friends seemed disappointed, but the cake itself was still very good.

Overall, the food and service were very good. That said, I’m not very familiar with Indian food or what it typically costs. My friends are, and they agreed that while the food was very good, the place is overpriced. They said they could find food just as good — or better — with a similar ambiance for less. We felt $17 for naan is a lot. I’d like to come back, but the pricing is really holding me back.

BarNaan in Brookfield, CT is a standout dining spot with incredible food and atmosphere. It was easily some of the best Indian food I’ve had. The butter chicken was rich and perfectly spiced, the naan fresh and fluffy, and the lamb curry incredibly tender. The shrimp biryani was fragrant and well-balanced, and the thick, creamy mango lassi was one of the best I’ve had.

The restaurant also offers unique drink options that pair well with the food. Each dish was beautifully presented, and the ambiance and aesthetic of the building were modern and impressive, making the entire experience feel elevated and memorable.

Beautiful restaurant! Excellent service. Fresh, delicious, and well balanced dishes. Above expectations. It was the right price for the high quality of food. Music was good, a little loud if you want to have a conversation, but the ambiance is friendly and cozy. Decoration and details make an elegant asthmosphere. I don’t know if all drinks have a light inside, but mine did, nice surprise

From the entrance to the greeting at the door to the restrooms. The experience was cool! Tasteful drinks, appetizers (a bit too spicy for me- the shrimp), dinner and dessert (funky but ok, not my favorite). All dinner options were yummy. The Naan breads were great, the garlic and cheese are a must!! It’s great Indian food but it seems like this is an upscale version. We’ve had the dishes before but here they were prepared more upscale, for the ambiance I believe. This was a very yummy fun spot and the service was on point! Def visit again.

This is a nice Indian restaurant. The food was excellent. I got the butter chicken and it was delicious! Nice atmosphere and the service was great. The food came out quickly. We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to seat us very quickly. They said it gets busy on weekends and reservations are recommended.

Can’t say enough positive things about this family‑owned gem. The food was excellent; every dish was delicious—full of complex flavor and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was beautifully designed—stylish and relaxing, with the look of a chic hotel, without being overwhelmingly trendy. What really set the night apart, though, was the customer service. Even though we had to wait a bit for our table, one of the owners personally apologized and generously offered us a round of drinks (not to mention the bar offered creative cocktails with beautiful presentation and taste to match). You can tell the owners and staff are committed to genuine hospitality and we will definitely be back—not just for the great food, but for the owners themselves and the cool, welcoming vibe they’ve created

Celebrated a birthday here with a group of 9 and had a great experience. I had to change the reservation time and party size a few times, and the staff was always accommodating. I brought a cake and Puja met me at the door to take it—really appreciated that.

There’s no kids’ menu, but the kids quickly forgot about that once the food arrived. They loved the naan basket, cheese balls, wings, and fries. The mango chutney with the garlic naan was a standout. Everything was well seasoned and flavorful; the butter chicken was probably the least loved dish, but still good.

We tried one dish “Indian spicy” and it was VERY spicy—intense but delicious if you like heat. The cocktails were fun, tasty, and some even lit up. The space is beautiful (even the bathroom!), music wasn’t too loud, and our waitress checked in often.

Overall, everyone enjoyed their meal and had a great time. Would definitely come back.

Food and service was excellent! The waitstaff were very friendly and efficient. The menu has really cool fusion options alongside the usual Indian restaurant fare. I had the saag paneer, which was fantastic, with the cheese naan, which was super soft and warm. My girlfriend got the chicken tikka masala, which I tried a bite of, and I was pleasantly surprised by it! I find lots of tikka masalas to taste somewhat watery, but this one was super creamy and flavorful! We also definitely recommend the masala fries. There was also a bar and a bartender, which was really cool to see! Great atmosphere. Lots of thanks to the kitchen and all the servers, who all did an excellent job.
