At what point does a pizza simply become cooked dough with a whisper of toppings? Answer: when you order pizza at Forest Lake’s Papa Johns. Like so many others, we have been ordering here for years with great results. All the sudden, boom! Skimpy toppings. It’s almost pizza, but it’s missing some key things.

Been ordering here for almost 10 years. In the last couple years, seems like every single time I order Papa Johns something is over cooked, undercooked, missing, or wrong.
This time its the crust. We wanted the garlic parm crust, and we received original. They charged us the extra for it of course. Not the biggest deal, but disappointing because its just something every time we order.

Yes, they are stingy with the toppings, but it’s a cheap pizza so what do you expect? We ordered over the phone for take out. Our pizza was ready in 15 minutes and piping hot. We fed our family for half the cost of going to McDonald’s.

Ordered some food told them I would pay with cash when I got there showed up when my food was supposed to be done was not done. It’s just a bunch of real little kids one older doing the back messing around. I went to go pay for my food they said they couldn’t cash any bills because they don’t have money in their store. I ordered delivery. My order was prepared just as ordered, with quality ingredients like whole slices of mushrooms and was delivered by Door Dash nice and hot in a timely manner by a super polite and friendly Dasher. This was just a satisfying and delicious lunch! I don’t usually write reviews but everything about this order was just so perfect! Thank You!

Unbelievably bad pizza on my first visit. I typically go to the Maplewood store and it’s night and day difference from this location ill never go back here. ill make the trip from forest lake to maplewood everytime as i eat papa johns once or twice a week. Now i see why they have a 3.7 star rating.

Went in on May 3rd at 710 pm for a doordash order pickup. Lady at the front counter had zero customer service and was actually pretty rude. Doordash tells us to say the 4 digit order number and the last name and she said” i dont need the digits, and didnt even say have a good night or anything, didnt even say hello when I walked in, she said “what is your order”. I felt bad for the three hardworking guys actually doing work. She seems like the type of coworker with an attitude that makes other workers miserable.
Went in again on May 10th, and the store felt so hot like there is no AC, workers were great, but the workers work condition felt like 90 degrees, and I have worked at Dominos and it never got close to this hot in here.

We had an emergency situation where we needed to take our daughter to the ED. After already having placed our pizza order with the delivery driver on the way, we called the store and they happily delivered our order the next day even after having made the pizza once. Exceptional.
