The Hawaiian BBQ sauce was thick and clumpy like refrigerated gravy. I couldn’t use it. The macaroni salad was not good. Possibly the worst Hawaiian macaroni salad I’ve ever had. Tastes like they just got a tub of the stuff from Ralph’s. I couldn’t eat it. The chicken was fine but dry because – sauce not usable. I’m telling you this in hopes that the people in charge will make recipe and quality adjustments. Honestly, Ono is way better, and I don’t want it to be.

Slow service I waited almost an hour for my food. I ordered the large mixed plate and drove 20 minutes to the restaurant. My order was not ready the screen said delayed so I asked an employee and she said there is only one chef and they are backed up on orders. I waited 35 minutes until I finally got my food. The grilled chicken was dark meat thigh with a lot of fat, the rice was mushy, and there was a small scoop of macaroni salad.

However, they were accompanied by a mountain of rice that could rival Mauna Kea in size, overshadowing the meal’s balance. The mac salad, sadly, missed the mark completely with a bland and somewhat unpleasant taste that made me long for the beach a little less. The roasted broccoli was just that—broccoli; reliable but unremarkable. All in all, a decent meal with highs and lows, landing it at a solid 3.5/5. Not all the flavors sailed smoothly, but the chicken itself might just be worth another voyage!

Ordered on Postmates. First time trying. Will definitely be my last. If this is Hawaiin food, I’m shocked. The chicken was sparse, cubed, and tough. The Mac salad was freezing cold and watery. Not like actual Hawaiian Mac salad at all and Mac salad is my favorite side dish when I’m eating Hawaiian food. The sunset was served refrigerator cold on the side and it was spicy, sweet and not very good.
There was rice under the chicken, but it was clumpy in some parts and a bit crunchy in others. I rarely write a review but I want others not to expect ONO Hawaiian type of taste. You will be disappointed.

It wasn’t inexpensive but the meat was delicious according to my boyfriend.

They seemed to have really upped their service since past reviews. I really enjoyed their large mixed plate with tender bbq chicken.

Everything was extremely disappointing.
The chicken was ok but the portion size for a “double scoop” was way too small for the price.
Same with the chicken nuggets. Entirely too expensive for the size. They were also dry and didn’t have much flavor.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place.

It’s a good amount for the price and the seasonings and sauces are pretty good too. The only really bad thing about the place is that they use either dry chicken/beef and also use old oil. Super difficult to chew and very tough meat.
I gave another star for the food because when the chicken is fresh it’s pretty good.
