The Pizza Tour continues! Our next stop was Scotto & Crimani in Hamilton, NJ. Classic pizza parlor vibe!
We got one of our standard orders…3 plain slices. EXCELLENT thin crust pizza. Our pizza had a very tasty, very thin crust. Crisp on the bottom yet it had a nice chew to it. High quality cheese and very good nicely spiced tomato sauce. The pizza was perfectly balanced in taste and texture. We’re definitely going back again when we’re in the area.

Update to my update – EXCELLENT burgers as well. I had a cheeseburger there today 6/29/24. Great quality patty cooked medium well, perfectly charred and juicy, with a fresh slightly toasted Kaiser roll. Roll was toasted crisp on the outside, soft and fresh on the inside. Will definitely be getting more burgers there!
…and ANOTHER update! Excellent cannoli!!!
Guess what…INCREDIBLE chicken cheesesteak!!! I got chicken, cheese, and pepperoni. It’s amazing! Try it…
Two words…GRANDMA SLICE! It’s just awesome!
Also, if you’re lucky enough to be there on a weekend evening when the brick oven is on…you gotta try one of their wood-fired pizzas. Amazing!

I’d give this place 10 stars if I could, I moved to Hamilton from Monmouth county and I have had trouble finding a comparable pizza place with the NY-style slices I’m used to, and this place hits the mark in every way possible. The staff is super friendly as well. You have a new longtime customer!

Tonight he made it, and OMG, I was in heaven. My first pizza in years that I actually got to eat with toppings!!!!
We have always had good service and food there, but this was over the top!

I went here for lunch with my mom. We ordered garlic bread with cheese and individual tomato pies; hers plain, mine with pepperoni and sausage. The sauce and crust were outstanding. I’ve been to both of the famous Robbinsville places as well as Frank Pepe’s in New Haven, CT, and this place held its own against all of them (though I must admit that Pepe’s is still my all-time favorite pizzeria). Since one slice of my mom’s pizza came out of the oven with a small hole in the dough, the chef made her a second pizza at no charge, which was extremely generous. So we had three pizzas, garlic bread, and two drinks for $40. For 2025, that is an almost unbelievable value. I will definitely be back!

You will always see this place full of happy returning patrons and we are two of them. Food quality is fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. You have to try their Brick Oven pizzas. If you crave an American cheese hoagie, that is prepared on the best tasting roll in New Jersey, delicious cheese, and crisp lettuce and onions, try one of theirs. The very best that we have ever judged.
