O…M…G! Thank you Smokin Aces for AMAZING BBQ in Denham! The brisket had just the right amount of smoke and the meat was so tender! Whoa! Pulled pork was moist and smoky. The house BBQ sauce (only one choice), but that’s all you need! So good!
I’m always leary of baked beans at a restaurant, but BAM Smokin Aces did it! Good flavor and stayed hot the entire meal. Fried pickles !

Overall it’s a decent place to eat. The brisket and pulled pork doesn’t have much season. The fried okra, baked beans and mac n cheese is really good. I was however, disappointed at the amount of brisket that was put on my sliced brisket sandwich for the price I paid.

As someone who knows his way around a smoker I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of everything on my plate. Everything was very tender and juicy (the chicken literally fell off the bone when I picked it up) well seasoned not overly salty or spicy, plenty of smoke flavor without being too bitter or overpowering, hell even the garlic toast was delicious!
It’s not often I can convince my wife to eat BBQ out because we always eat it at home but when we do this will be our first choice!

Would you look at how juicy this brisket is?! It was phenomenal!! I have a new favorite place to eat that is sooo close!! We definitely needed a good bbq place here in Livingston. Get mac and cheese as one of your sides!

This place is the best. The food is just great, I had bbq sauce all over the place! The people were super friendly and the food! Did I say the food is freaking good? We had four different sides, all super good super old fashioned. Every meat was out of this world. We were stuffed and still have enough left over to have a awesome treat later! They have a special deal with a loyalty card, which I will probably fill by next week, not kidding! Don’t hesitate, this place is worth every penny!

**Not enough smoke**
I do not add BBQ sauce at the table. I ordered the Shop Special with double smothered greens and a side of brisket. The rib was good. The chicken needed more smoke as did the pulled pork. They also lacked salt. The sausage had a nice flavor, but it was nothing to celebrate…except that it was the most flavorful meat on the plate. The brisket had a really good looking bark. It was meaty and the fat had a buttery quality, but also lacked smoke. The smothered greens were very good. Spice, umami, salt…delicious.
The wait staff and ladies at the order area were top notch. The gentleman in the dining area checked on us appropriately. He was courteous. Asked if we needed refills. Took our dishes promptly. The staff are what saved this review from being one star.

I was so excited when I heard that Smokin Aces BBQ was coming to Denham Springs. I was a fan of the shop in Baton Rouge as well and this did not disappoint. I ordered the Shop Special and it was so much food that I had to bring most of it home. I loved the sausage (some of the best I’ve ever had), the pulled pork was juicy, and the chicken and ribs were perfect. The sauce was pretty good and I wish they had a spicy version. The staff was very friendly, food came out fast, and the facilities were very clean and tidy. I wished I worked in the Denham Springs, LA area more so I could eat here during lunch each week.

My wife and I went here for lunch. It was the best BBQ I’ve had in years not to mention localy I ordered the ribs and my wife ordered the pulled pork
. Ribs had the erfect smoke and the texture was perfect as well. The pulled pork sandwich was moist and delicious an was served on a toasted brioche bun. their homemade sauce was fantastic as well.My wife and I highly recommend going here if you reallly want good quality bbq. Also, their sides are great too!
