My experience at Don Marcós Cantina was pretty disappointing. They don’t really seem to serve actual meals- basically the only food available was tacos and empanadas, which already felt very limited. Unfortunately, the quality didn’t make up for the lack of options. The empanada I received was cold and honestly tasted like it went straight from the freezer to the microwave without ever being properly fried. The tacos were also stale, which made the whole food situation even worse.

The drinks were strong, but they were also overpriced for what you get. If the bar can’t provide basic things like the beer or shots people ask for, they should at least have a menu of specialty cocktails so customers know what the focus is and have some interesting drink options to try.

I will say the vibe of the place is good- I won’t lie about that. The atmosphere and energy were decent. I just wish they played more variety in the music instead of mostly traditional songs that people can only dance to with a partner.

Overall, the place has a good vibe, but the limited menu, cold empanada, stale tacos, and overpriced drinks made the experience pretty underwhelming.

I’m a secret shopper and I gotta share my experience here.

This is such a cool place to check out in Port St Lucie FL right on US1, North OF Crosstown

When I came here I was only expecting to eat with the guys from the crew but then there was a band playing some hot music, you don’t hear everyday. I’m trying to remember it was a female singer. she’s that singer that wears a black jazz hat, brunette, wavy med/long hair. Converse brand shoes. I don’t know around 28-30 is.
Idk If any regulars go there and read this but what is the name of her band?

I would actually like to know more information after showing my buddies the video OF THE RESTAURANT/ENTERTAINMENT
and now they want to check out Don Marcos cantina. It is a great small place if you’re looking to have a nice time, the staff there was absolutely friendly ask for the bartender! Shell treat you like family there! I’m really not good with names, just faces. Bartenders a petite brunette with a down to earth personality that lights up a room, somewhere around 48-50 ish.

MSG TO OWNER CAN YOU REPLY HERE 2 TELL ME WHO THAT LADY SINGER WAS?
atleast put it on your Facebook page so that I can go check that out. She was an entire vibe. She had people dancing, she sang that 1984 song hurricane. Even her name stood out right on the tip of my tongue, Lindsey? Leann? I asked a friend of mine he said she goes by a stage name. But forgot her name. I went there the next Thursday for a ,and
she wasn’t there.
I really need to reach this woman!

I just wanted to thank her for saving my life that night. She’s a hero! If it wasn’t for her I could have been dead.

I choked on a mentos that got lodged in my airway, I was outside at the designated smoking section sucking on a mint mentos, and that girl must have seen me struggling, I’m trying to beat my chest, plus I’m a nice chunk a 289lbs.
That didn’t stop her because she ran over so fast punched and gave me a heimlich maneuver and she Punched three times and the lozenge went flying to idgaf!!!!!
when I calmed down,
second thought it was an angel that did that for me because she disappeared. I’m pretty sure I am going there again, I didn’t expect to have that much fun on a Tuesday, thats what made it a unique and fun life-saving experience worthy to return for me and my buddies from work.

I’m this thankful to be alive and I want to thank her. If anyone outside of here knows who I’m talking about this girl needs to be easy to find?! 1 because her vocals are outstanding. 2. She need to be needs to be recognized as a hero.
I may contact the news if no one can find her plus I already shared this on Facebook, after it happened but no one has come forward based on her description. I live in Vero Beach Florida that may the reason I’ve had no luck finding her.
if any of the staff can help me find this person who helped me that night, she was singing that night with a voice of goddess. Beautiful rock voice. In this day and age as young as she is, you don’t hear that type of voice everyday
You turn on the radio and all you hear is auto-tune rap now what the forfeit music dis is? Yu know? is that all about?
Music is not the same as it was in the ’80s and ’90s. Js smh.
when I calmed down,
For a second I thought it was an angel or ghost that did that for me because she disappeared after. I was a little tipsy so she kept insisting I go to the ER to get a clean bill of health. I am going there again,,,,,
I didn’t expect to have that much fun on a Tuesday, thats what made it a unique and fun life-saving experience worthy to return for me and my coworkers.

Thank you for all of your help this story really needs to get out to the right source and I hope it gets delivered and I hope somehow someway she sees it.
Thank you John for translating this message my typing no good

Always wonderful! Bar fabulous with great views, all dining relaxing with incredible wait staff (especially Jeff!! and outstanding food. Filet, ribeye, lobster done perfectly. . A true gem! Traffic this year on Sanibel made getting there from where we are M-F difficult- but we made reservations on a Saturday. Amazing drinks!- we got a smoked Manhattan and smoked bourbon and later superb wines with the meal.- The ONLY problem was: I was jealous my husband got a blue duck in his Manhattan ice cube, and I did not! I stole it from him later.

1st of all, they advertise $4 beers, but then charge a 50¢ tax on each one! I was there on an open jam night and the sound quality in there was atrocious! The sound guy was behind the band, and refused to listen to any input, I even told some of the band members that we couldn’t hear a lick of their instruments, they tried some adjustments but couldn’t get the sound guy to co-operate! I will never again be going back! And the 50¢ tax on a $4 beer thing is absolutely absurd!

I used to enjoy going to this nightclub when it was called Cielito. At first, there was no cover charge, and the music was great. I even spoke to someone who I believe is a part owner, asking if it would be possible to add more toilets to the women’s bathroom. He mentioned that it would be too expensive.

However, things have taken a turn for the worse. They now charge a $10 cover fee, and while they still have just one toilet, the last time I went to the restroom, there was no air conditioning—extremely uncomfortable. I spoke to the man I had spoken with before, and he was incredibly rude. He said he didn’t want to spend extra money on electricity and implied that women should just go in and out quickly.

This behavior is unacceptable, and the music has become worse over time. This will definitely be my last visit. It’s disappointing because it’s one of the only Latin nightclubs in the area, and they clearly take advantage of that. I do not recommend this place, especially for women. Stay away!
