Food tastes really good BUT this visit is my first & LAST! Recommend you drive to next available restaurant that wants YOU to enjoy your date night. Service IS VERY IMPORTANT to the whole dining experience. Sadly our waitress didn’t get that memo.

It’s nice to finally have a hibachi option on the island. The food was fine and our waitress (Faith) was pleasant and attentive. I did like the fact that they offered a ginger/peanut sauce for the salad, which was different from other hibachi places.

The restaurant isn’t cheap though, so expect to drop a good chunk of change if you decide to try it for dinner. The atmosphere was very bright and almost office-esque. They could probably look into buying some more decor.

I really enjoyed my dining experience I had today! Server was fast, friendly and efficient…made a great Mai Tai as well! The food tasted great and was cooked to perfection, and it arrived from the kitchen still steaming. Good atmosphere and the televisions on the walls were tuned into football games…another plus. They have hibachi and regular tables as well as a six seat sushi bar. Good food, good time.

As an Over the road truck driver I have ate sushi here and there and everywhere.. Very nice & new establishment! I had the “Top secret roll” “Pizza roll” and the “cherry blossom” WOW the tuna and salmon was something special!! By far the freshest tasting sushi I’ve ever had in all my years of enjoying sushi! Highly recommend and that doesn’t come lightly!

The atmosphere was clean. The sashimi and sushi were fresh and of high quality, and the food was excellent! It was the best sushi I’ve had recently! The friendly staff were also excellent!

Great addition to local food options. We did a dine in table visit, not hibachi but they do have the whole hibachi experience. Lots of hibachi grills so wait times are low but very limited table seating so wait time is a bit longer if not doing the hibachi. I assume that’s due to just opening and are probably planning to accommodate more in the future. They do also offer carryout and have a small bar/sushi bar area fits roughly 10-12. For dinner we had sushi items and the hibachi entrees. The mystery sushi roll was amazing and very theatrical served on a flaming plate! The food was on point as far as taste, quality and quantity goes. I will likely be returning many many times in the future for lunch dinner and events.

We finally tried out the new restaurant. It was just 2 of us so we just ate at a table, not the hibachi. It’s the same menu, just without the show. They have 10 hibachi tables – including 2 in a private room..

Service was excellent. We were taken to a table and a server came over shortly to ask for our drink order. When the drinks came back it was appetizer time. We got the Japanese spring rolls and miso soup. The spring rolls were nice and crunchy and the miso hit the spot.

The Hibachi entrees come with a small house salad, onion soup, steamed or fried rice and veges. Hubby for the chicken and rice and I got the shrimp, scallop, and lobster tail.. Chicken and seafood were good perfectly.

A nice addition to the island restaurant scene. Next time I will try the suahi.

The price was reasonable, the food menu was varied, and most importantly, the taste was excellent! Mr. An, is very friendly and amazing sushi chef! Best sushi rolls I ever had! Staffs were friendly and the bathroom was very clean. I definitely recommend stopping by when you visit Kent Island.

UPDATE, 1 Jan 26. Got takeout off the menu and there is no denying the food is fantastic whether you eat in or take out! There isn’t a bad item on their menu: the rice, chicken, steak, shrimp, vegetables, yum yum sauce…it’s all excellent!
ORIGINAL REVIEW. We’ve eaten here a few times and the food is always excellent! The interior is clean and well organized, but the environment isn’t as inviting as it should be for the prices you pay. Granted, they converted a couple of strip mall spaces into a restaurant, but so have many other businesses in the area without it feeling strip-smallish. While the prices seem appropriate for the steakhouse experience, they charge the same if you order the same thing off the menu.

YOU MUST READ THIS: This place is by far the best hibachi steakhouse I have EVER been to. A good way to judge a place is to look at the salad dressing. Theirs is absolutely mind-blowing.
SECONDLY: THE SUSHI IS THE BEST ON KENT ISLAND BY FAR!
YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE OUT… especially with the family or for a date night.
