Cuba, MO subway has horribly rude and incompetent staff. Used mobile app to order a subway club (which is turkey, ham and roast beef), even paid extra for double meat and all I got was a regular serving of turkey. Called to complain and the male kid who answered the phone was impolite to put it nicely. He said I had to bring the receipt and sandwich back in to prove they screwed up and I wasn’t just trying to get free food. When I said I couldn’t because I didn’t have a car, he said too bad then. Nothing they could do. No apologies or anything- just rude and incompetent. I’m deleting the app and will definitely not be returning. If I could give zero stars I would.

Went in for a tuna salad. Male employee put scoops of tuna in chopping bowl and asked other veggies I wanted. Told him onions and peppers. He added to bowl. I asked for lettuce on the bottom and he said they added the lettuce last and mixed it in with the tuna. I asked him to put the lettuce on the bottom and then put tuna on top of lettuce. He rolled his eyes and turned his back to me to get the to go bowl and said “ I know how to do my job “. Guess he thought I couldn’t hear him. I responded “sir I never said you didn’t know how to do your job and never mind I would go to another subway that knows what a salad is and walked out. Awful way to treat a customer.

When I usually come to this subway it’s a good experience, but this time around I wasn’t so fond of it. The person taking my order had an ear bud in the whole time so they couldn’t hear me which isn’t a huge issue. The biggest problem I had is the lettuce grabbed from the bowl had a dead fly on it that was noticeable on top of it, and they still went to use it. The whole toppings are seemed a bit dirty in general. I’m just hoping it was a bad day for them.

I was traveling through on 44 and stopped here for lunch on a Sunday (Dec 1). I ordered a ham and turkey on multigrain with pepper jack, spinach, cucumber, pickles, green pepper, banana peppers, mayo, s and p. Not toasted. It was delicious! Tony made my sandwich. He was very nice, did a great job making my sandwich. Some employees at other locations just put the toppings on haphazardly. Tony did it carefully, with intention.

USE THE APP!

I was on the road with my son, and we needed to eat. I normally use the app when ordering from Subway and generally don’t get meals since I’m grabbing food and taking it home. This wasn’t one of those times, and since I was driving, I couldn’t use the app.

Well, I should have pulled off the road.

The Cuba store was clean, and the service was good. The sandwiches were well made and tasted great, but our total was $36.

I’m sure that fits with some people’s expectations but not this guy. Both sandwiches were less than $12, which means that a small bag of chips and a fountain soda was $6 each. That’s ridiculous, in my opinion.

So do yourself a favor and use the app. Generally, you can get a buy one, get one on sandwiches in the app, and that would have made me feel a lot better about my meal that I did on this visit.

Awful experience! Waited over 15 minutes for them to only service 3 people in line. Lazy staff only has 1 speed. Probably the worst subway in Missouri. I won’t be back ever.

I have no complaints on the food or staff. They were great and as expected. However, as a mom with a baby and a toddler I was disappointed that there was only 1 bathroom and no changing table. I recently had a c-section and can’t change the baby on the floor. My choices were either leave, change in car, or change on the restaurant table. There was also a long line for the 1 bathroom.
