I loved their order when I had ordered from this place via uber eats so I was extremely excited to dine in but I was slightly disappointed with the food when we dined in. The honey chilli potatoes were a big miss ! My friend ordered a lamb manchurian but she felt it was overcooked.

Unfortunately, I had to give only 1 star for the food. Service and atmosphere were definitely 5 stars.
We ordered samosa, chicken pakoda, chicken 65, naan, and chicken tikka curry. None of the food items were appetizing. I’m not even sure if what they served was chicken 65 or chili chicken (you can see in the picture). I don’t know on what continent this is considered chicken 65.
They used the same chicken for both chicken 65 and chicken pakoda. Chicken pakoda is supposed to be dipped in a besan mixture and fried to be crispy, but what they served was basically chicken tenders dipped in besan batter.
The chicken lollipops had no salt at all.

We will never dine here again.

Best Indian food in Chicago. We had buffet lunch here and it was absolutely delicious. A must have for all foodies. I also tasted indo-chineese feom Bombay Chopsticks and it definitely is one of my favorite place.

Kudos to all the staffs at Bombay Chopsticks.

Wasn’t blown away by the food. Setting is nice, bring your wallet! My chicken curry with lentil soup, and naan bread was $40. Just okay for the price… I think I would have rather have spent a little bit more and gone to it a lot. Finer dining

If there’s zero star I would give it to this restaurant. Worst Indian restaurant you would ever go. Their lunch buffet is awful. No flavor nothing. Please don’t waste your time and money in here. And about the service, it’s worst than the food. Awful experience.

Bombay Chopsticks and India House operate under the same umbrella, but unfortunately, that’s where the coordination ends. Nowhere was it mentioned that Bombay chopsticks are closed on Mondays — a basic courtesy to inform potential customers. We updated the manager and they became willing to update the hours. When we finally did manage to try the India house food, it was underwhelming at best. Substandard flavors, nothing that stood out or justified the hype. Definitely expected more. Won’t be going back.

Extremely loud place. The food extremely bland. Appetizer were good but the main course was disappointing. They got half of our food and we waited for about 40 mins for rest of the food. Wouldn’t recommend.

I was happy to discover a nice indian restaurant in downtown chicago, serving “indo chinese”, but my experience was disappointing

I ordered –
1. honey chilli potatoes- they were just frozen fries tossed in a mediocre sweet chily sauce
2. Bombay chopsticks hakka noodles- super bland, but okay
3. Chicken manchurian with gravy- super bland and had no flavor at all. The chicken pieces were as if just boiled chicken chunks.

I would not come here expecting real indo chinese.
