I stopped by this buffet restaurant for the first time today while passing through, and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. Right at the entrance, an aggressive employee immediately began pushing me to purchase some discount or club membership card, being incredibly insistent despite my clear statement that I only wanted dinner and nothing more. The food quality hovered between a 2 and 3 out of 5—some items were edible, while others were completely impossible to eat. The thinly sliced fried beef was absolutely disgusting. The fish and shrimp were okay, but the desserts in plastic cups were tasteless, and the fruit—especially the pre-cut oranges—were dried out and clearly hadn’t been fresh for days…
Then the waiter brought a $28.13 bill and told me I’d be charged double if I didn’t leave immediately because a new billing period was about to start. This was so outrageously rude and disrespectful that I told him I’d need just a couple more minutes to gather my things, even though I hadn’t been there long and the dining room was nearly empty. This is exactly the case where staff determines your restaurant experience, and this time, one person completely ruined it. My mood was spoiled, and I will never, ever return here. Naturally, I left no tip whatsoever—there was no question about that. While the atmosphere and interior design were nice and modern, that one staff member destroyed everything….

Omni Buffet is one of those places that instantly feels inviting the moment you walk in — bright, spacious, and full of energy. The variety here is honestly unmatched. Every station is constantly refreshed, and nothing ever sits too long or dries out. Whether you’re in the mood for sushi, fresh seafood, grilled meats, or classic comfort dishes, everything looks (and tastes) freshly made.
The staff deserves special mention — they’re always nearby but never intrusive. Plates disappear from your table like magic, and any spills or clutter are cleaned up before you even think about it. They really keep the place spotless, which is impressive given how busy it can get.
And the best part? The price. For what you get — this much selection, quality, and attentive service — it’s a great deal. Perfect for hungry adults or, in my case, a growing kid who’s always hungry.
Omni Buffet hits that rare sweet spot: affordable, delicious, and extremely well-run. Definitely one of the best buffet experiences around!

The place appears clean and the people are nice. That’s pretty much where the good ends. The food is not good. Like it’s objectively just bad. Like it’s too salty or has been sitting out too long and just old looking and then tasteless. It wasn’t the great experience I was hoping for when I saw a buffet Asian Cajun place. And I’m Creole btw but I was absolutely not approaching this in a snobby way. I just wanted food that didn’t taste bad. The bar wasn’t set high. I think people come here to feed their families till they pop and are ok with the food as is. Little kids don’t know better and if you’re a family on a budget you do what you have to do.

As for the relationship between quality and price, I don’t think it’s a good option. I am not of such a demanding palate but I did not like the food, many of the meats were either dry or tasteless, the only thing I found pleasant overall were all the sushi cuts. Without it being a bad experience, I would never go again.

The food selection was a bit limited when I first arrived. Many dishes seemed like they had been sitting out for too long—they looked mushy and didn’t taste very fresh. Luckily, I only took a small bite of each at first!
However, I was glad they brought out a fresh batch later. I absolutely loved the squid, cabbage, and steamed fish! At just $13.99 for lunch, I would definitely come back again just for those three dishes.

Restaurant was clean and very updated. The food selection was large and was very good. The snow crab legs were what we were there for mainly, they were very tasty and fresh. The only thing is that they go as soon as they come out which was about once an hour. Other than that it is a great deal for your buck and the dessert options were good too.

Seafood lovers, rejoice! This place is the bomb diggity! The lunch price is way less than other Asian buffets and the quality is excellent. There is no Mongolian grill station, but as a pho lover, the soup available makes up for that. Lovely sushi—great quality for a buffet! The shrimp is phenomenal, and they have scallops during lunch, too! I’d go here twice a week if I could. The mousse is fantastic, and it, along with multiple other items, are great for the gluten-free community.

We live in Salt Lake but make sure to come here each time we’re passing through. The food is fantastic and the service is great. I have to note that they have my favorite Cajun shrimp! There seasoning is next level They are so quick to pick up the dishes and trash from peeling shrimp and crab so the table is never overcrowded. We’ve had our 5 year old with us each time and he’s never disappointed. Great food selection for both adults and children!

I came in for lunch expecting a decent experience for $13.99, but got charged the $25.99 dinner price instead and honestly, nothing about what I ate felt like “dinner quality.” I arrived just 40 minutes after they opened, yet most of the food was already cold. The boba was disappointing, especially for what they charge.
The food looked okay from a distance the display had potential but the taste was like reheated leftovers. Dry, bland, and just not fresh. I really wanted to like this place after seeing the photos online, but the reality didn’t come close. For the price and quality, this was a major letdown. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

Luxurious Dining, and only the most desirable food in the most AWE INSPIRING luxurious environment, this restaurant competes on a NATIONAL LEVEL. I have never seen anything like it, nor is there any better restaurant fit for ANY PERSON than this.
Price:
for Adults it’s ~$26.99 per person, but is honestly worth $35+ as far as taste, quality, and appearance
I have never been to a better restaurant in the state of Utah, this buffet takes ALL other restaurants by storm and is far superior in price to food quality to environmental ambience ratio.
I am very serious speaking highly of this restaurant, I’ve never been to a better one, it’s quality literally competes with Buffets on a NATIONAL level, competing with Buffets in Atlanta, Georgia, various cities in California and other very prestigious cities and restaurants as far as quality, appearance, service, price, and environmental ambience
