We had a great experience at Cork Street Tavern. Beautiful interior and exterior.
Food was fresh and warm. They even accommodated our little one’s needs.
The server was professional and took care of us. The French fries were super yummy
Fish and chips was small but delicious.
Overall we were satisfied with our experience

Cork Street Tavern is right in front of the Children’s Museum; the perfect place to stop for a meal, even with a child! We ordered the fish and chips, and it was absolutely delicious, fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. We chose the lunch menu, but honestly, we should have listened to our waiter and gone for the dinner menu, which comes with two pieces of fish. The lunch one is a bit smaller and comes with lots of fries, but that’s exactly what the waitress explained before we ordered, so no complaints there!
The staff were so kind and welcoming; the waiter even put on a cartoon for our son, which made the whole experience even better. It’s such a family-friendly place with great food and lovely service. Highly recommend!

We had an early dinner And after a trip to Ireland and finding a drink of gin, elderflower, and tonic it was top on my list. I ordered the shepherds pie. Mind I make it at home so when offered I don’t always order it because I like to add some herbs and even whiskey to the meat when cooking. So glad I ordered it here. Full of flavor and a generous portion for early dinner.

Had dinner at the Cork Street Tavern last week. It was a nice night, so we opted to have dinner on the patio. The selection of beers was excellent with plenty of choices for everyone. Our server was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The food was very tasty and flavorful. I had the fish & chips and my wife the prime burger. We also split a mac & cheese side, which was very good. My only criticism would be that since it was dinner, I would have liked for the fish & chips to come with 2 pieces of fish rather than one. Other than that, it was a great dining experience, and we will definitely repeat.

If the multiple entrances don’t confuse you, you are in for a nice lunch. There are about 4 different doors. The server was nice and attentive with refills. The mozzarella sticks were my fave of the meal. The cooks forgot to add avocado and peppers to the salad and ran them out a few mins later. Rest of the meals were ok.

The non smoking side is where we went. Had Nashville hot chicken with tavern fries and coleslaw. The chicken was excellent and our server was very friendly and efficient. We had a coke and root beer. This is a historic location and one of the oldest buildings. $60.00 for what we had including tip.

Quaint place. Small inside but not too bad. Service was good. Food was okay. Had the fish and chips. The fish was good but small and the chips were average. Slaw was very small portion and a bit dry. Dessert was good as I had the peanut butter pie. Overall a little disappointed in the portions for the dinner price. Definitely not a Buffalo fish fry as to what I am use to. Will be back to try something else though.

Awesome service, amazing food, and great tavern vibes. We are traveling and wanted to find something unique to Winchester and were very happy with this local spot that is locally owned. Two entrances with two different seating options, we went for dinner but they have a large beer selection, and the east entrance has a pool table. The crab cakes were amazing!

We had lunch earlier this week and it was absolutely delicious! The best fish n chips in Winchester!! I will say the food was rather slow coming out but it was fresh and hot! The server was pleasant and of course it was a great downtown vibe! We will definitely be back!

I love their Baby back ribs that’s my ultimate favorite… Actually the foods I tried there is phenomenal ❤️
My #1 favorite restaurant… even though we have to drive for 1hr and some minutes just to go and eat there. It’s worth it.
