Finally found a spot in town with a good breakfast burrito. Always a good sign when you have Tame Impala playing in the kitchen while you wait for your food. It was our first time trying out this spot and we will be back. We got the shawarma-rito. Flavor was fantastic!! It is rare to order a breakfast burrito and not have to add more sauce to it. Another perk is having a place where we can grab food quick and not have to eat in. Amazing burrito. Try it.

Just got back home from the airport and we were super hungry. Was not disappointed by my Ciabatta Bing eggplant sandwich, fries, and Baklava. So happy to find a spot with great sandwiches! Yes, Keystone is from the PA/Philly connections the owners have. Takeout only. A great Jewish and Italian sandwich shop. Both owners were there and working and were super friendly. Reminded me of home in NY.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Keystone in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and let me just say — this trip was long overdue. I’ve been longtime friends with the chef and partners behind this incredible spot, and I finally made the trip down, flying into Georgia and driving over to reconnect with them and see firsthand what they’ve built. And wow — they’ve truly outdone themselves.

From the moment you walk in, you can feel the heart and pride that went into this place. It’s not just another sandwich shop — it’s a carefully crafted experience that pays tribute to the rich flavors of the Northeast. Every bite brings a sense of nostalgia for anyone who’s ever enjoyed food from Philly, New Jersey, Delaware, or New York. The menu feels like a love letter to that region, but with a fresh Southern touch that fits perfectly in Chattanooga’s growing food scene.

I tried their latest special, the chicken cutlet sandwich, and it was absolutely perfect — no exaggeration. The bread was toasted just right, with that satisfying crunch that doesn’t overpower the fillings. The Cooper Sharp cheese melted beautifully, adding a rich, savory balance to the crispy chicken. The arugula gave it a fresh, peppery bite, tying everything together in a way that shows true culinary precision.

And then there was the falafel — light, fluffy, and full of flavor. The smooth tahini sauce complemented it beautifully, showing just how much thought goes into even the smallest details on their menu. It’s the kind of food that speaks for itself — simple, honest, and done to absolute perfection.

Seeing my friends’ hard work, passion, and dedication come to life in a place like Keystone genuinely made me proud. They’ve built something special — not just a restaurant, but a destination that brings people together through food that’s made with love and skill. I have no doubt this shop is only at the beginning of its journey. With the quality, creativity, and heart they’ve put into every detail, I can easily see Keystone expanding and becoming a cornerstone of Chattanooga’s dining culture.

If you’re in the area — or even a few states away — trust me, it’s worth the trip.

I have only been here a few times now. My sister originally found this place when she was craving breakfast burritos while pregnant, and theirs is the only one in Chattanooga I would recommend.

I’m not here to rave about the burritos though, I’m here to sing praises to whoever curated the chicken shawarma.

I have lived all over the US and have had my favorite shawarma style wrap in every place… this one tops them all. Every single component is not only delicious in its own individual way but NECESSARY. Even the bread! The wrap is seasoned and carefully seared to give it that sealed crunch everything needs.

My only issue is that I live an hour away. It’s probably in my best interest because these wraps are the size of a fat baby’s leg. I had half of one earlier for lunch and finished the other half just now for dinner. And yes, it’s even good cold and not fresh.

I would come work there for a day just to learn how to make everything you put into that thing so I can make it at home.
Anyways, great food, great service, clean space and plenty of parking! 1 million stars!
DONT CHANGE ANYTHING!!

I thought 5 stars was crazy when I looked this place up, but they made me a believer! We got the Falafel and the Schwarma-rito. Best falafel I’ve ever had. Make sure to get a side of tzatziki to dip your fries.

Will be back! Heads up! Shawarma wrap has french fries IN the wrap. It was really good, but order the fries as a separate side (if you can!) They are perfectly seasoned and perfectly crispy! Prices are higher than your average sandwich shop. It is totally worth it and you feel good knowing you supported a local business! Your’e missing out if you don’t try it!!!

Checked this place out on a Sunday morning and glad we did. We ordered the Classic bagel (3 flavors to chose from) sandwich with bacon. It was loaded! Served nice and toasty wrapped in foil. Bagels were definitely fresh and there was ample bacon. There are no table and chairs. There is a bar across the front window where you can watch the world go by and try to figure out why there are new road markings. We took our sandwiches back to the park near the fountains and enjoyed the beautiful morning. There is parking behind their building… it’s the gravel one. Some park in the loading zone out front. We’ll be back for lunch for one of their gourmet sandwiches.

This place is absolutely amazing.
We got the burrito, Jersey turnpike, loaded tots, and a baklava. The food was all so tasty and the guys there were wonderful to interact with. I’m a tater tot freak and these are the best tots I’ve had in a long time. The sauce they use is so tasty and fresh. It’s a Mediterranean spin on tots. Would highly recommend!

My husband is from Jersey so he tried the Jersey Turnpike. He was happy with the choice. Not many places serve pork roll. The brie turkey sandwich was a hit too.
3 stars for the atmosphere is for the no seating area and parking.
We expected a sit down eatery. That’s okay. We ate in the car and shared a little with our fur baby.

It’s rare I find a restaurant so fabulous I feel moved to write a review, but I want other people to experience the joy that Keystone brings. I first ordered the braised lamb sandwich. When I unwrapped it the aromatics sent me reeling. I knew I was in for something special. The flavors were beautiful, complex, and balanced. The bread was delectably soft. The arugula was bright and happy just like the way the sandwich left me after consuming such a fabulous creation. Belle Chocolates recommended I go here and I’m glad he did. It warms my soul that there is such a strong and supportive culinary community here in Chattanooga.
