We’ve been coming here for years and always enjoyed it, but this last order was a big disappointment. One roll had a live bug (noticed after eating one first of course) and the soy sauce tasted and smelled terrible — sour and fermented, not like normal low-sodium soy sauce (which we’ve had plenty of times before). We even called to let them know, and while they did go check, they insisted it was just low sodium. Unfortunately, we’d already poured it over all our rolls before realizing how bad it was, so everything was wasted. No offer to refund or make it right. Really disappointing after being loyal customers for so long.

I had a wonderful meal at Fin Sushi and found myself thinking about how I’ve been coming here for nearly 20 years. Every visit has been a pleasant experience.Anyone who understands how difficult the restaurant business is will appreciate how special it is to sustain this level of quality and service for so long.By far my favorite sushi restaurant in Fairfield County, the service is great, the sushi is always fresh, and they also offer a really nice variety of other dishes, all done very well. It truly feels like home.

My husband and I have loved ordering food from here, but unfortunately we will not be anymore. I found a staple inside of my sushi roll after I had already put it in my mouth, and it cut my gums. We called the restaurant, and the manager tried to gaslight us and tell is it wasn’t a staple (it is clearly a staple). She also tried to tell us that it was from the bag, even after we had explained multiple times that we opened the bags and threw them out before we opened the containers of sushi. Not only that, the staple was INSIDE the roll – not on top. She did offer to pay for my medical expenses if I had any, which was nice. She also told us that they could not refund us because we ordered through Grubhub. However, Grubhub only refunds the impacted item and we were too scared to eat the rest of our sushi. So now we’re out the money and my gums are cut up.

Something has happened to the place since I was there couple of years ago. The portions now are small and not very delicious. In addition I did not feel well right after. I was one of my favorite. Very disappointed.

I think it’s a spot worth trying. I haven’t had an issue with them. I mainly order here to go, I haven’t really sat down in the restaurant. I haven’t had any missing food ordering here, maybe few times forgot chopsticks or sauce but nothing major to be upset about.

My all time sushi favorite in Fairfield. If I am in or near Fairfield, I am stopping in to satisfy my appetite. Absolutely love the Kimchi soup before hand. Sushi is always fresh and delicious.

If I could give zero stars I would. Literally the worst food I’ve ever tasted. Got the yakisoba noodles and veggies. Tastes like they just boiled the noodles and veggies together and put it in the bowl. No flavor at all and you can see it. The fried rice was also extremely bland. Tried adding soy sauce and it didn’t help at all. Both foods tasted like we were eating nothing. So upset that I even spent my money. Don’t order here.
