Killer Poke – Bakersfield
Fresh, friendly, and a big bang for your buck! The portions are generous, the ingredients taste super fresh, and the flavor is on point every time. The house-made chili is out of this world — absolutely a must-try!
Great service, clean spot, and good vibes all around. You can really feel that hometown care in every bowl. Highly recommend checking them out!
Hoagies is hands down one of the best spots for breakfast burritos and wraps — big portions, fresh ingredients, and packed with flavor every time. But what really made the experience special was meeting the owner. Super nice, humble, and genuinely cares about her customers and the quality of the food. You can feel the heart behind the business, and it shows in every bite. Great food, great vibes, and great people — highly recommend.

First of all if you plan on grabbing lunch you need At least an hour, 25 minutes for food to be ready.
Missing shrimp on surf and turf paid 26 dollars for a tri tip wrap.
Soda tastes flat.
Iced tea and lemonade the machine is off see pictures of so many people dumping their iced sodas back and choosing a diffrent flavor. You’re better off buying a sealed drink behind the counter when you make your order.
8.5/10 taste not the best bbq in town 21 st is way better. It’s over hyped. No staff available to let them know they had my wrapped wrong. It’s a self serve restaurant pretty much once you pay that’s it maybe 1 hour before you can let the front counter about your order being wrong. Hope everyone one else has a better experience
But the sandwich came with everything listed but tomato.
The dining atmosphere is not my preference, so I got the order to go, I didn’t know until I got ready to eat. Simple mistake or perhaps they ran out of tomato today(not sure)? but otherwise it was ok food and friendly staff.
This is the moment when everything took a drastic turn for the worse. Rather than processing the ~$18 refund and moving on—since our experience would have been significantly improved by just that—we ended up spending a considerable amount of time being given the runaround. Initially, we were offered a remake of the sandwich, which I had anticipated 30 minutes earlier. Then, we were finally informed that cash refunds were not possible, and instead, they proposed a gift card. However, given the circumstances, we knew we would not be returning or recommending this place to anyone else, and it had become a matter of principle. It wasn’t until my husband spoke directly with the owner, Jeff, using one of the manager’s cell phones, that the $18 refund for the club sandwich was finally issued.
We understand that there were issues with previous management’s cash mishandling. Nevertheless, this matter, which could have been addressed quickly and without issues, instead dragged on, resulting in a very unfavorable impression of this establishment, and caused us to carry this negative sentiment for the rest of the day.
